Professor Panik is a professor that if you do not do the homework, you will not get an A or even a B in the class. She makes you work. She is an excellent teacher though, and is willing to stay after class to help a student.

I took her stats course online and everything was very clear as to when assignments are due and her video lectures are amazing! The only thing is to make sure you stay up to date with assignments as she gives many assignments.

Comment:

Best for a career in math, not great for engineering. Homework is done by hand not with software. Very rigid on each step in problems being absolutely correct. I've had multiple homework solutions marked off because the form of correct answers didn't match her expectations. Makes students read the aloud in class. Seems a bit like high school.

Definitely not my favorite class, but Professor Panik made it very enjoyable. She is very friendly and helpful, and made the class easy due to her organized and straightforward teaching style.

Comment:

Ms. Panik is great! She is very sweet and knows her math. She is always willing to help. She is very understanding with make-up tests. I would definitely take her again for any other math classes. I do not agree that she is a tough grader because she does give you credit for what she can if you show your work even if you get the answer wrong.

I tool this class half way through and I recomend not taking her. At first when there was only 8 students I thought it was cool, then I realized I had mede the mistake of taking it as she is imposible. Corky, very picky in grading and on one occasion marked problems which were right after showing her. Worst teacher I have ever taken. Take my advice

I have had professor Panik for all but one of my college math courses and, although she may be a hard teacher, she is the best. She teaches at a college but does a wonderful job of preparing you for university level math. Her notes are clear and she does a great job of explaining things so everyone in the class can understand.

She is a good teacher but, very pickie on grading. I even went to the ARC building to get help on the take home quizzes and I would never get a 100%. Even when MR.Plow helped me on a quiz. AND Must PASS the final exam or you fail the class.
