Comment:
Professor Kindregan is the only person you should be taking Family Law with. Family Law is what it is today because of him. He's very quiet but so knowledgeable. Make sure you either go to class or read the cases closely. If you go to class, you don't really need to read the book because he explains everything so well.

There are people who take his course who never attend class because he simply says the same thing and an outline is distributed. Guys like him should not be "teaching". He is also a radical leftist, I think. People say he is a nice guy and that is pretty much true, but people also like him because the course is easy.

Take Kindregan for family law. He knows everything on the subject, seriously. Class is so laid back, reading not required because he discusses all the cases anyway. Good class notes and the outline is all you need for a good grade. Test was pretty easy.

The MAN for FL. Great guy. Very approachable, kind. There's a good reason his students love him. Test is a little harder than may be expected, but ultimately fair. Get the Kindregan Bible!

Kindregan is a walking encyclopedia of information. He and attorney Monroe Inker drafted the definitive guide to family law practice in MA. It is possible to do well in this class without attending class on a regular basis or doing any of the assigned reading if you track down an outline from a previous year.

He wrote the book on MA Family Law and does a great job in highlighting the important aspects of the course. The subject material is easy to get your head around, and his exam is a softball. I would recommend his family law class to anybody interested. There is a fair amount of reading, but it is not necessary for class.

The nicest person ever and the most reasonable grader...but you have to do a little bit of work.
