She is an awesome and amazing teacher! She wrote the textbook so its only 5 bucks! She is so good about going over information slowly but at a good pace. Shes caring and super super understanding! She made me a person allergic to math get a good grade in statistics!!

Comment:

Deborah was a wonderful instructor. She wrote the textbook herself, keeping the cost for this class very low (which is nice!). The first test is closed to notes but the other two are open to a page of notes. She responds quickly to emails. Workbook was not useful as it didn't come with an answer key, which she should provide. Take in person.

Comment:

Excellent choice for people who have had difficulty with traditional mathematics courses. I found it difficult to fully understand the material because her self written textbook was a word-for- word text version of her lectures. I found myself with a very superficial understanding of statistics by the end of the course.

Comment:

Deb White is one of the best teachers I've had. She breaks down the complicated concepts into bite sized pieces. If you show up to class, do the activity, do the homework, and the sample exams, you can't fail. All she asks is that you show up, and that you try. Didn't love her teaching style at first, but once I got it, I excelled. 100% Recommend.

She is amazing, Made a tough class easy! and fun! gives you all the practice you need to succeed. very methodical and organized method of teaching. made simple and straight forward. teach out of a book she wrote that mirrors her lecture one to one. so just attend class sit back, pay attention and do the practice at home. got almost perfect A.

Such a good teacher, I loved how she worked with athletes. If I had to miss class because of a game she was very understanding and helpful, she also came to every home game to support! The pretests are spot on with the test, she doesn't put anything on the test that's not on the pretest. I loved her.

Love Deb white, she was a great teacher. Very interesting videos and concepts introduced to me, actually made me interested in math.

Stats is a college level course and students need to be able to do college level work. Deborah WANTS her students to succeed, but she makes no efforts to hold your hand. Be prepared to do the work, make a study group and be proactive about your education. I actually enjoy this class. I would recommend her to anyone (that is willing to work).

Deborah White, really is not a good teacher, she really does not lecture and expects the students to be fluent in math, she expects us to be almost math geniuses, she does not lecture, for the whole class period which really hurts the students who are not fluent in algebra,

Okay so this class is pretty good if you have a foundation in math. SHE DOES NOT REALLY LECTURE! She does teach somewhat but she is more a "do the work you will pass don't do it you fail" type of teacher. Here is the kicker you can be FAILING the class and if you receive a C on the final you get a C in her class. Not many teachers will do that!

She really encourages students to do their work. This is the first teacher I have been able to keep up with in terms of math since 3rd grade. She is also a sweet and quirky character. I was always excited to see her.

Useless teacher. She barely covers anything in class and rarely answers questions. She also rarely lectures for the whole time allotted. She just expects everyone to be fluent in their math. She also has made some very derogatory comments about students in other classes. Unless you are a very strong student you'll fail due to lack of teaching.
