Far and away the BEST professor at MSL. This man knows his stuff and is actually interested in making sure you know it when you leave his class. Very soft spoken, but one of the funniest people I've ever met - and one of the smartest. He's willing to work with anyone at any time to get them through not only his class, but any other class & the bar.

This man is amazing in every way. He fits in with everyone but does not have the arrogance of some teachers. He is brilliant, kind helpful and if God made a perfect human being it is Ed Becker. A couple male profs could learn from Prof Becker what it means to show class and professionalism to your students. Thank you ED!

A really good guy. He is very specific, sometimes to the point of being too picky, but someone has to do it I suppose. He is the classic case of a Prof. who will make you go "find out for yourself" or make you answer the questions. I wouldn't mind another class of his, but if i had other options I would take avoid him...if that helps!

Professor Becker is the most caring hard working individual in that school. If you need help he is there for you at any hour of the night and day. He is truly concerned that you learn the material. You may not get the exact grade you want because he is a tough grader, but you will walk away knowing exactly what you are supposed to. He's the best!!!

His preparation of the day's lesson BEFORE getting into the classroom coupled with his patience, guidance, and kindness is what sets him apart from some of the other small group instructors. He instructs each day with a purpose & goal in mind. If only admin. would listen to the students and eliminate the problems at the top of the writing progs.

You have to really get the type of person he is in order to understand him. He really is a good teacher but his personality is very "unique." He really cares about you learning the material but sometimes he gets annoying in the process.
