The class is alright, tough but do-able. The attendance polls are based on accuracy, which drags your grade way down when you don't understand the content before it was taught. Going back to pure attendance polls would be a much better idea.

He's the best math professor I've ever had - caring, gives clear explanations, is very patient, and provides many resources for students, especially for exams. The exams aren't too difficult and reflect well on the topics learned; as long as you pay attention in class and rewatch lectures, you'll do great in the class and on tests.

He is a good lecturer. I would take him again. He recorded the lectures beforehand. However, he does this annoying thing where he would add one more problem or re-explain one or any extra material, at the end of the class without recording the zoom meeting so we can go back and review this extra material again.

Exams are similar to the lecture problems, as long as you show up to class and understand the problems he goes over, you'll get a good grade in his class.

Prof Ohara was an ok prof for my first year of calc. He moves pretty fast, but can also go step by step through problems. No major complaints. I would take him again.

Good professor, far better than some of the other Calc 1/2 professors at the U. Lectures feel very compact. Fairly harsh grader on midterms and final, which make up 78% of the grade. Good lecturer, but didn't follow through on promises for curves.

Professor O'hara is great. He is super nice and helpful in office hours (which I would recommend going to). I like how he truly cares about his student's success as he is very approachable and can ask about anything. His lectures are sometimes a little slow but they are very detailed.

O'Hara was very straightforward and easy to understand professor. He sometimes was a strict grader and lecture notes weren't always posted in full but overall he was easygoing and a very casual person so it was easy to approach him to talk or ask for assistance with the class.

Professor O'Hara is awesome! His lectures are very good and it's easy to follow. You will most likely get a lot of homework and worksheets but that is just to understand the material better. He is a tough grader (for example, he's strict on notation whether it's about limits or Reimann sums) but that is just a reminder to make sure to include them.

Eoin is by far the best professor I've had for math. He is extremely organized and has awesome color-coded notes that help you understand the material. The outlines of the notes are posted before class. This allows you to have adequate time to record his lecture examples. Awesome in office hours. Tests are tough but if you work hard youll be fine.

Great Math Professor! He loves math and was a really good teacher overall. Be prepared to work hard, but he will help you out if you need extra help. He was extremely nice the whole semester and it made me look forward to every Calc II discussion with him.

Very clear (also speaks English!) in communicating tough subjects. Going into office hours was also helpful where he would even make up random examples to help you along! It's also clear he loves math so the enthusiasm and friendliness is nice.

One of the best math professors I have ever had. He explains everything so well. The only complaint is that because he explains everything on his slides, he tends to go over the class hour and rush through the last two slide. Take Ohara if he is available because you will learn a lot! He really cares about his students and wants them to succeed.

At the beginning of the semester, this class sucked for me. When I started going to office hours and asking more questions I began to understant it. O'Hara is an awesome professor, he is very helpful and explains things in a straight forward manner. He also actually cares about students understanding the material. Hard class, but great teacher.
