Skipped the 1st 1/2 of the book. No preview!! Said "you should know the material"! No work shown on the test (even if u get the answer right) NO CREDIT!! Class instr. way too fast (not enough time to write notes) and way too much H/W! Even w/a tutor helping me, I dropped the class. Do NOT take his class unless you want a guarantee to fail!!!

If you do the homework, the material is easier to understand. But if you pay attention to the lecture and solve the problems in class, you will get a preview of what's on the tests. By the way, he tells exactly what problems he will give you for every test. Study the tests cuz the final is mostly made up of test questions. Attendance is mandatory!!

I took Mr. Furino for Math 101 and I wish I had taken him for Math 105. He is a great teacher and he's very helpful. As long as you try and put a little effort into it, an A is pretty easy to get. I think everyone should take him!!

I took statistics once before and received a D. This time, everything is crystal clear and I am getting an A! He's an awesome teacher and very generous with his grading. Plus, he's a nice guy. O and you don't have to be good at math to take his class.

Mr. Furino was a great teacher! I was diagnosed with a learning disability in math, and passed this class without any of the reccommended "extras" If you attend the class, and show your work, Mr. Furino will meet you half way. I would definatly recommend take his class! All you really have to do is try.

If you're good at math, it's an easy class to pass. If math is a difficult subject for you... AVOID AVOID AVOID. Although he is nice and tries to help, his teaching style simply didn't work with my learning style. His style is very dull, many times unclear, and all over the place. But if you're good at math, take him.

I don't know about the other people's comments but Mr. Furino was very helpful. He explained each problem that you asked for step by step, he made sure you're at pace as the rest of the class. His test aren't hard and there is a lot of homework, but that is so you understand the material. Take him, nothing wrong with his teaching style.

I thought he was great... he kept the class intresting and he explained things relativly clearly.. he kinda does give out a lot of homework..but i wouldn't say that it is too much to handle and he lets you drop your lowest test if u do it all.... He's cool, take him :)

i enjoy being in his class, he's very helpful BUT YOU NEED TO ASK he can't read minds (i think thats what students don't understand),he's very easy to understand AND he's funny. I would take his 105 class if only he was teaching. I'm sad he's not. I highly recommend him. Mr Furino YOU ROCK!
