AWESOME is the only way to describe him. I had him for math, Meteorology, (I can still look at the sky and identify a cold front 13 years later) And, took Geology in a study abroad class in Costa Rica. Those who had him as an instructor should envy me.

Very little textbook use. His use of humor in teaching meteorology, while at the same time making it interesting and fun for the student Made it my favorite class. Fair grading and the class was not difficult at all which can be attributed to his teching methods.

I absolutely hated math in general and I always did bad in it...that was until I took Frank's class. He made it so easy to understand and was always very helpful! I aced his course and regained me confidence when it came to Math. To me math was always very boring, but he made it fun and showed us how to solve the problems in practical easy to understand ways.

The greatest math teacher I have ever encountered! At first his teaching method seemed outlandish, but it wasn't long until I was a believer. He makes mathematical funcioning into common sense. It was a rewarding class.

One of the best! Doesn't try to confuse you, makes things clear. My sister took the course twice. Once with another professor who made everything difficult and hard to grasp. She took Franks class and Aced it.
