Either you love him or you hate him. His teaching style is not for everybody, can be vague if your used to detail. His pace is based off the overall pace of everyone in class. So if your slower than everyone else, good luck. He answers questions but expects you to know the material up to a point. Show him hardcore effort and at least you WILL pass.

Paul jumps straight to the point in his lectures. He assigns hw and goes over it when asked; doesn't collect or grade them. Only complaint is sometimes what he says is going to be on tests isn't on there, and hes so simple his exams are only 5 or 6 questions! So be sure you just know your stuff, pass your labs in and you'll pass. He's lab heavy too

Paul is one of the best professors I have had. He is 100% for the students in his class. He does everything he can to teach and provide support. Lets you have note cards for tests. He jokes often, but remains on topic. He always goes over tests and thoroughly explains any question any student has. I really wish I could take more classes with him

For anyone who intends to put in effort into their classes Paul Chanley is your guy. He is willing to help anyone and he is very "for the student". I will have had him for 3 classes by the time I graduate and I respect him for his teaching style and his enthusiasm. He is a memorable professor with great character and real world knowledge. ENJOY!!

One of the best professors I've ever had. Took Circuits II class with him. He gives good feedback and will even stay after class to help out students. Brings a positive attitude to the class.

Amazing teacher! The material is not easy, but he does the best he can. Allows index cards for tests. Take good notes! A lot of the material for the test come from your notes.

I hate math and kept putting off taking this class. But this professor made me love math and I got a 100 on almost all the test. He expects a lot from you but he is always willing to answer questions until you understand. He would do anything for you inside and outside the classroom

He's not afraid to answer questions that alot of teachers would just ignore because it's ahead in the subject, or off topic. He's really good with student interaction, he almost lets the students decide where they want to go inside the topic, teaching what the class finds intresting, while keeping to the sylibus. He's understanding and realistic with his expectations and student situations.
