Dr. Jung has an accent, but don't let that deter you from taking his class! He gives humourous and easy to understand explanations of concepts, with clear and detailed examples. He provides practice problems/exams that are EXTREMELY helpful and mirror the actual exams. His class was my favourite until he left. God bless this man.

Dr. Jung was hands down my favourite professor (until he left for medical leave :'( get well soon) He gave very useful lectures and his midterms were very fair. As long as you know what is going on in the lectures the midterms were very easy as he doesn't deviate from what he has actually taught you. God bless this man and all of his quirks.

Jung is a gem. Overall, physics 124 isn't a difficult course, and Jung holds your hand the whole way through. Loved this course until Jung went on med leave, and Don Page took over. Missing Jung and his Perrier. Only reason I went to physics lectures was for Jung. Definitely the best 124 prof, even though the curve his high, his tests were easy.

His accent is very difficult to understand even when paying close attention. Test questions weren't difficult for the midterm but harder for the final. The curve is what will fail you, even if you aced labs, homework and got 100% on 1 of 2 midterms. Avoid this class, the curve is just brutal, does no one any favours.

Curve is what kills you, midterms were 7-9 questions and so if you didn't get 100%, you were pretty much screwed. Also, you need a textbook because you will not understand half the things he says & if you go to him during hours, he expects that you remember from high school ...

Professor Jung is decent, has thick accent and a monotone voice. Don't take this in the morning as you will fall asleep. The notes were decent, many of the midterm questions were from his notes or the exam registry. Had two midterms. Final was from exam registry, midterms, notes, and mastering physics. Effort required; not an easy A.

Really good notes but he doesn't post them online so you have to go to class. Midterms out of 7 and 9 points so every mistake counts. The average was ridiculously high for a first year class (76%) so you had to basically get 90+ on everything to get an A

Wouldn't recommend. Very useless teacher and its hard to understand him or his notes. The midterms are easy; but that also means it is easy for everyone. Since they are 10 marks and worth 15%, every mistake matters. Curving is ridiculous in his class, where a B- is a 76%. Overall, its easy to get a good PERCENTAGE, hard to get a good GRADE.

Gives good notes, but the curve is steep in this class. Midterms are easy but short, so you really can't afford small errors. Final was fine, just make sure you do the exam registry questions and make a thorough formula sheet

He has an accent, but he tries to funny and crack jokes from time to time! Dr. Jung doesn't put notes online, but he does let you take pictures of his notes if you ever miss them. There are lots of assignments, but they are easy. The exams are also easy, but beware of the curve.

He was a great prof and should be rated so much higher. Very good and concise notes and the exams were hilariously easy. First MT avg was 80% and the second was 78%. Expected the final exam to be GG but it was pretty easy too. All MC for MT and final. Do the problems sets. There were 5 questions straight from the problem sets on the final.

Avoid this prof. Totally useless, lecture time is a waste of his students time as he sends the notes through email after his class. Doesn't explain any of the concepts just copies the notes and mumbles into his microphone. Tests are a joke, read the textbook and you will do well.

Super awesome notes. Even if you don't take his class find someone in it to borrow them. Really in-depth. Weird accent but you get used to it quick. Also has good videos/applets.
