Some assignments are quick and others take a few hours, I agree with other comments saying you dont really use the textbook except the final. Many assignments are personal which made them easy for me. Overall it was a decent class.

Professor Newbert-Avila is a great professor. We have assignments every week, some big some small, but she gives everything at the beginning of the semester so you always know whats due and when. He final is 122 questions but, like stated before, its given at the beginning of the semester so plenty of time to complete it

I LOVE Professor Newbert-Avila! She is fair and gives many reminders regarding the lengthy final. I would recommend her to anyone needing to take child psych.

Amazing Teacher! She does give you a 130 question final that is completely open book, she takes -5pts. for every missing question but gives you the final on the first day of class. She is a very fair grader. I will be taking another class with her soon!

Just finished her PSY252 online class, overall she is a very caring person and is very understanding if you just email her and let her know whats going on. Only problem is her 122 question final, I missed 6 questions and got a 60. She extended it 2 days longer because students requested it. If you do good on weekly assignments then you are all set

Do not take! You will do unneccessary work and she'll give you a bad grade. Final was 122 questions and she didn't read any of it just took -5 points off cause I missed 9 questions out of 122!!! And tells me that's sad rude and doesn't know how to grade what so ever

she's a great teacher. i am so glad i got to take her, she's not easy to get. i have a hard time in school so i tried her class online and i would highly recommend. she's a fair grader and she gives feedback every time you pass something in. only thing that sucks is the final which is over 100 questions but she gives it to you the first day.

Worst professor I've ever had. All the work is extremely personal and not even psych related, weekly assignments are worded confusingly and when emailed for help, I didn't get a response for 2 weeks. Not how a professor should run her course, definitely not a teacher I recommend! If you have to take psych, avoid her at all costs!

Only test is the final, a nasty 122 questions. You can get by on all other assignments without reading the textbook EXCEPT the final. If you email asking for help she will be of great assistance to you. Only thing to be leery of is there is NO clear grading criteria or comments that will assist you in improving during the next assignment.

This professor is amazing, She responds to your questions and will help you anyway she can, Im not even finished with this semester and i couldn't help but rate her! Expect homework, this is college it comes with any class you take but as long as you do the work you'll have no problem.

It was inline so lots to read, weekly assignment ussualy in essays. She answers questions and helpful. Sometimes hard to understand the assignments but just msg her. She is very encouraging and helpful. My 1st online class and it was a lot of work but I did well. Read & write. In all she is a great professor.

class consists of assignments and weekly discussion. She's an easy grader but she loves when people put effort into the work. HUGE final which you have access to from the beginning of the class which comes straight from the book(only time you really need the book!)SO START IT ASAP! So interest in the class and effort and it will show in your grade!

Not a hard class. Prof very nice! The only downfall is the work included lots personal stuff. Didn't really learn much from the text. Text was only used for the huge 122 question final. She also bases her final questions on previous text editions which made it very frustrating. Overall though, not a bad online class. The only test was the final.

Jane is an excellent person. Yes, you do have to READ< READ< and READ. However, the assignments are not boring at all, because it has to do a lot with your own personal life. She is so understanding and caring. Very flexible with due dates. I would totally take another class with her.
