Took beginning French with him in the fall and loved his class. Language classes are difficult, but he loves and cares about those who try. I was able to develop a great relationship by speaking with him outside of class time. I personally did not find learning French easy, but I did have a great teacher for the class. He LOVES to sing.

You have a question? too bad brother stephenson won't answer it. I have had so many questions this semester and out of the ten or so emails i have sent to him I have recieved one answer back. these were varying to look at a grade a TA gave me that i thought was unfair, or asking to record class because of a flight change. Or even a clarification.

He was a funny teacher, but for the photography assignments he's really good at making you feel awful about your work you thought you did good on. Not just me but half the class. And when I asked questions I was actually curious about for the assignments he made me feel dumb for asking. This is the hardest most frustrating A I've worked for.

Lots of humor, and you can tell he is very educated and knows a lot about a lot. Classes are a blast and very engaging. The lecture is never boring, and he does a great job of relating things to real world applications. Honestly, if you just show up and pay attention, the grade will take care of itself. Nothing is too insanely hard.

I went into this class dreading it because I hated art. At the start, I decided to give Brother Stephenson a shot and do my best. I actually loved it and have used the knowledge when traveling and in social circles. He is full of dad jokes and is pretty funny. Just do your homework and practice for each quiz and you will be fine.

I absolutely enjoyed his class. His assignments were not busy work, but aided you in learning more from the lectures and knowing more about the arts through history. His lectures were entertaining and he would pull out a joke here and there. He let the class participate and created an environment where we felt safe to ask questions.

Don't take Brother Stephenson if you're taking Humanities as a foundations class. He takes it WAY too seriously and makes it harder than it needs to be. He makes you do so much homework and is a harsh grader. This class should be an easy A, but he makes it too difficult. Take it online from someone else!

Brother Stephenson is so entertaining. He gets the whole class laughing. He may seem intimidating at first, but he has such a soft heart and cares about his students. At the start of the semester, I was worried I would hate humanities, but I have come out of the semester loving it.

I have learned so much from taking his class. All of his assignments were logical and impactful. He knows so much and doesn't teach from slide to slide but instead really explains to the class.

Let me start off by saying that I never liked any humanities course I have ever taken, until I took this one. Professor Stephenson not only taught the material, he helped me to get exited about it. His assignments are all geared towards exposure, as well as understanding. You will not regret taking a class from him.

He was very good at teaching clearly, his lectures always had nuggets of useful information. The down side is sometimes I felt his lectures didn't really discuss what was on the tests. Also he gave no leniency if you had something come up that prevented you from doing the homework, even if you talked to him about it in advance.

Bro Stephenson was an enjoyable teacher, he cracked a lot of jokes and told a lot of stories. Sometimes they were off topic. This class is very quiz, exam, and in class tests oriented. There are a lot of online readings and mini quizzes due before each class which are hard to remember because there are no reminders. Pay attention and study.

Bro. Stephenson has fantastic lectures and is hilarious but his exams are ridiculous. He asks for dumb trivia not even relevant to the concepts you study. The syllabus was the most vague thing Ive ever read and he lacks communication and consistency for online assignments. If you want to have your grade reflect what you know, take someone else.

He loves what he teaches and it shows the way he passionately teaches. He is hilarious and always making his whole classes laugh. He can walk into class and just start talking so he seems unorganized but he knows exactly what he wants to share. No study guides for the exams which made it more difficult but he is always accessible outside of class.

Brother Stephenson isn't a bad teacher, he is actually very kind and loves the humanities! My problem is that I felt like he wasn't as organized as I'd I like. (I'm a planner) He fixes problems as they arise, so I think mostly just our learning styles clashed. He is really funny though, and quirky. You will probably be amused every time you go!
