he is legit the man! i loved him! such a nice guy! his test as long as you go over the focus lists and actually understand them.. you will be fine.. he is a bit boring at times but I loved him! i would recommend to ANYONE!

I did not enjoy this class; he assigns entirely too much work and decides last minute to not give any credit for it. Talks non-stop for the entire duration of the class about anything just as long as he keeps you for the full length of class. Gives focus lists for tests but never has anything you studied on the actual test...would not recommend.

Loved this class. I have never learned so much in such a short time. He is a great professor. Wish he taught every Psyc section I have to take. Taking notes and paying attention are a must because he does teach A LOT. But I am here to learn. So if you want to learn a lot def take his class!!!!

I am in my last week of his social psych class. I felt joel was a great professor. Makes class interesting,and exams are easy and take home. I felt there was a lot of work to be completed, but hey i got through it so im stronger because of it,,,although maybe a little less work would have been better

Honestly probably my favorite teacher at brookdale. The work isn't too bad, most of it is journals and midterm/final, quizzes are easy, tests are a little tough.. He's funny, extremely intelligent and usually has an cool way with keeping the class interested in whats being tought.. If I could take the class again I would, but only if I had him..

I have a 4.0, and 35 credits completed as a psych major. This class entails student feedback. He constantly shut me down (& a few others) for my/our thoughts (they were by no means implausible or offensive, they were our views). In the beginning a lot of people were engaged however by the end of the semester half the class dropped and no one opened

For Mature-minded students only!Listen to and practice Professor's "3 truths", and you will do fine. An amazing and inspiring educator who will nurture students who show a sincere interest. NO GAMES! Tells it like it is. A refreshing change!

He's very serious about his subject, but he likes to joke around. He gets in a really good mood when you get to the chapter on sex. lol. But he's a fairly easy teacher and gives some extra credit. Note: if your a kiss-ass, don't be with him. He can sense one from a mile away and he'll just be harder on you.

It's a writting intensive class, so if you're good at writting it's easy. There are 2 take-home-tests, both in essay-forms. There may or may not be a few quizzes, but he will give out other essay assignments/papers throughout the semester, incl. a research topick or movie annalysis. My Russian homey. Hates Hummers. Read the book A LOT. He tells you straight up: the tests are hard. Read the book and you'll ace the tests with no problem. He's funny and expressive, has personality. Great that he gives 6 tests because it's easier to pass. Always room to clean up your act and pass.

Professor Morgovsky has a lot of passion for the subject of Social Psychology and that clearly comes across in his teaching. He brings each topic and concept to life and helps you learn by relating them to your everyday life experiences. The class is challenging - you will have to work hard - but he is always there to help you. You will learn alot.
