Doesn't communicate with students or post your grades online. He says only join the zoom calls if we need help or if we're struggling in class. How are we supposed to know how we are doing if we don't get our overall grades? Tests are super blurry and cant tell what any of the pictures are. He just scans them in so it's hard to read and adds stress

Teacher knows the curriculum for A&P1 but not great at teaching it. Class was taken online during COVID19, but he did not teach out the required book even though the same book would be required for A&P2. Lots of powerpoints and very blurry pictures for reading and tests. Do not take if you expect to learn what you will need for to prep for A&P2

Dr Perreira, is awesome. He does everything possible to make sure you understand and grasp what he is teaching. Prof Perreira responds to you emails in a timely fashion. Loved his teaching style only wish he taught more than just A&P1. Study his printouts, take notes,n record his lectures. No need for the textbook. you wont regret it. Fun class

Comment:

Professor Perreira did a great job at explaining the material covered. No homework and no quizzes, so STUDY a lot for the exams. 3 Lecture exams and 2 lab exams. I had a hard time with the amount of studying but that was my fault not the professors. A&P isn't an easy course, you have to put in the time if you expect a good grade.

Listen in lecture, take good notes, use the packets he provides to study and you'll be fine. He has a great personality. He is always willing to help you understand the material if you don't ask for help, he will find another way to explain it to you. Glad I took his class, would take another with him.

He is great! I really enjoy his class. There is no homework really, just study as much as possibly for all your tests, 3 lecture and 2 lab tests. He uses a lot of real life examples to help you understand the material. If you have a medical background you will probably like him even more. No extra credit is offered so make sure you do well on tests

I had him for A&P I and got a 4.0 in his class. He is fair and an easy grader. All I did was pay attention in class, reviewed my notes and looked over whatever handouts he gave. I did use the book, but honestly, I probably could have gotten away without it. He does well at breaking up the long day with some not-so-funny jokes.

Professor Perreira gave lectures which was accompanied by a packet that was going to be on the tests so you basically had to study the packet. He never followed the book just went along with what he wanted to teach Lab practicals were more teach yourself. He went off topic alot but overall I would take him again!

If you need to take bio 233 take it with him. He gives real life examples to help explain the material. He will help you if you ask for it. He goes over everything you will need to know for an exam, which are multiple choice. Great professor.

Anatomy and Physiology was a tough course, but it is manageable as long as you study ALL the material assigned. We would get a test with over 100 questions on it, and there might be one or two questions you didn't see in the notes. The test's are rigorous but if you study enough and memorize, you will do great!

AP1 Great teacher, very smart and he teaches the material so you know it. He offers extra help- is a breath of fresh air when it comes to college professors. HOWEVER- he goes off topic often... Which can be difficult for people like me who like to stay on topic when paying for a class and interested in learning the material .

Mr. Perreira is an AMAZING professor! He goes out of his way to help you learn the material. He wants his students to do well. Very funny, intelligent, and has a very good heart. This class wasnt as hard as i thought it was going to be! Professor Perreira's Anatomy and Physiology class was very straight forward. Take good notes, and study them! Amazing teacher and person! He is so knowledged on the subject and is willing to explain everything in depth until you understand it. He is an awesome person as well, very caring and understanding. Smartest teacher I've ever had the honor to take a class with. Funny, down to earth, and knows the subject matter like the back of his hand. Take lecture notes as close to verbatim as you can and study them and you'll be fine. Wish he taught A&P as well, I would sign up in a heartbeat.

Fantastic guy!! He does not give homework but take that time to go over your notes! His tests are not hard but not easy either! You need to study your notes! Prof Perreira is amazing! You'd be crazy not to take him. He's smart, funny and does not give any homework! As long as you show up, take good notes and study, you'll get an A! Again... He's AMAZING! :)
