She taught this class with another prof, and I always knew I was in for a better day when she was at the podium. She was the one to explain historical context that we might not know, and she was much more clear and concise. She also pushed for class engagement, which i appreciate in a lecture.

Easily one of the best profs at McGill. Fortunate enough to have taken her class the year she was lecturing. Would recommend to anyone. Not an easy class by any means, but definitely one worth taking.

i loved her as well as the class. she's extremely knowledgeable. her lectures are organized, clear, and engaging. she's funny and really helpful. it's a hard class with a lot of content, so be sure not to fall behind. one of the best profs i've met.

It's like a class taught by a friendly mid-western aunt who just loves Russian politics. She's very knowledgeable in her field and has a decent sense of humor in her lectures. Also she's super available for office hours and will give you books for research if you ask.

By far the best prof I've had at McGill! Very friendly and helpful to students and really enthusiastic about the lectures. She puts a lot of creativity and effort into the class. Not the easiest grader, but not impossible either. I learned a lot... I wish she taught all of my POLI classes!
