One of the best professors I've had at Suffolk Law. He will teach you what you "need" to know when you get out and practice in this area of law.

If you want to learn and are willing to do the work there is not a better professor out there. Expect to be asked to figure things out yourself. There is no spoon feeding here... from my perspective its a good thing.

Greenbaum seems like a good guy, but his teaching style is rather disjointed. Taking notes is next to impossible as he rarely finishes a thought before changing topics. I mostly taught myself, but the subject matter is interesting. He will answer questions, sometimes in extensive detail, if you ask. Final was incredibly long and tough.Just average.

Probably the worst professor I've had in my life. Class was a useless joke and he actually apologized to us at the end of the semester saying he felt he could have done a better job but had some health problems. I eventually stopped going and just read the casebook by myself as all he talked about was the NFL Lockout.

I didn't do well on his, IMO, too-long exam. But he's very knowledgeable. I enjoyed class. Yes, he goes on tangents, but he's always available outside of class if something confuses you. So there's no reason not to go into the exam knowing the material well. Good guy too.

Empl. Disc. Nice, laid-back guy. Knows subject inside-out. Lectures are off the top of his head and disjointed. Often difficult to follow his train of thought (changes topic in mid-sentence...). If he were more organized in his classroom approach, this class would be first rate. As it stands, it's not the greatest. Exam was fair enough.

I am female and do not watch or enjoy football, baseball or other male sports. How the numerous all-male sports analogies in an employment discrimination class could fail to strike Greenbaum as ironic is beyond me. Arrogant.

Lazy, plays favorites, and doesn't bother to teach the materials. As all posters have noted, he'd rather discuss the Red Sox. Devotes a fraction of class time to the law. Take Yamada instead.

Real nice guy. Loves to talk about sports. The classes are a little disjointed. I felt like I had to teach myself the materials. He knows so much, but in typical law school professor fashion, it appears like he wants to hide the ball. I mean why not communicate all that you know to your students? Overall though, great guy, fair exam.

He was great in labor and employment arbitration. I hear he is much harder in either labor law or employment law. The arbitration class was fun and helpful. He is a really smart guy, he took the class out for drinks, and he spent a LOT of time talking about sports arbitration.

Nice guy. I never got bad vibes from him. Lectures were a bit boring and slow moving. However, LL wasn't a terrible experience.

Comment:
Not the worst, but a strangely conceited person. His opinion of his own intellect is absurd, given his lack of scholarly and professional credentials. If he were a fraction as smart as he thinks he is, he would have made partner or (at least) some contribution to legal scholarship by now.
