Comment:

She is so nice and really does love her job and you can tell. But her lectures are SO BORING. Honestly I dont even know what we just went over when Im leaving class. No real life comparisons. Labs are so so easy. Tests are SO HARD. And she grades 75% test, 20% labs 5% class participation. So if you suck at taking test, NOT THE TEACHER FOR YOU.

Comment:

Marsha is one of the best professors I have ever had. I was and NRD student and couldn't have been taught by a more capable professor. She cares deeply about her students and is passionate about the topics she teaches. She inspired me to get a bachelors degree as well as pursue my passion of forest health. TAKE HER CLASSES.

Comment:

I love taking classes with Marsha. She really cares about her students and the program. Her courses can be difficult (zoology, soil science) but you will learn a lot and she will help you along the way if you make time to see her after class and learn the content. Will chat about life and whatnot which makes lectures more bearable sometimes.

I've taken Marsha for almost all of my classes. She is the best teacher you could have here if you're a NRD major. She really knows her stuff and makes the class exciting if you care about the subject material. She cares about her classes and wants you to do well. Exams can be tough and the study guides are vague but they are multiple choice.
