In a word: Terrible. He clearly has the knowledge to teach, but is incredibly lethargic. He could not be bothered to assign work that would clearly indicate your command on the subject. Instead, he gives work that involves subjective grading so that he can issue a random grade to keep the class average in the normal B range. Lazy and uncaring.

Def a good professor; lecture style. Just take notes and you'll do fine. Always receptive to students' questions, so ask! Great at teaching and the sense of humor def makes the class enjoyable =D Also, he doesn't give any 'busy work' just for the sake of giving an assignment! Just show up and pay attention in class.

Take this professor if you can! I found him to be very interseting. I had him for a 9:30-12:15 class and the time flew by. He has some great ideas and his tests are easy if you have shown up for at least 50% of the classes. I would take this professor again. Here's a tip though: exams draw heavily from class notes.

Not a good teacher for RS majors. Boring lectures, very little class discussion. Short answer midterm which he doesn't give back for review. Only one paper (final) which is also never returned. You never know what you got wrong on tests, what he's looking for in papers, what you've done right and what needs to be improved. Feedback is zilch.

I did not want to take this class at all, but Brooks made it really easy. I usually don't study a lot, and I still did good in his class. He usually lets you out early and gives you EXTRA long breaks. He really knows how to teach and keep the class ingteresting.
