Comment:
Do not take this class if you don't have to. Practically none of the lectures are on the tests. Studied the notes and read the chapters MULTIPLE times for each test and still made in the 60's on tests. No idea where he gets his test questions from.

Do not take him his tests are nothing like what he teaches in class. I only missed one class AND read the text and still made C's on the exams. Went to him for advice and he told me to study more...

IMPOSSIBLE! He is the worst professor I have ever had. I had to withdraw from the class because I was going to fail. His test are impossible, he is impossible and he thinks that a 60% pass rate on tests is good. DO NOT TAKE HIM IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE! IMPOSSIBLE! He should be fired.

Horrible professor. Has powerpoints in class but does not put put them up online afterward and they cover a trivial amount of what he actually tests on. READ THE BOOK, his lectures suck and are pretty much pointless. I taught myself from the book. I am a straight-A student, but am currently making a low B in the class. Run far, run fast

Comment:
Dr. Raymark is a horrible professor. He lectures directly from his powerpoints but does NOT put them online. The powerpoints are very wordy and do not give any good information. Most of the test material comes directly from the textbook (which is very juvenile and horribly written/organized). I never got anything out of his classes. RUN AWAY!

Teaches from his powerpoints but doesnt put them online. Test questions are impossibly written, and he is satisfied when students make 60's on their tests. Speaks too fast and doesnt make any sense of anything when he talks. Id have to say he is not my favorite professor...

If you have a choice, do NOT take him! I read every page of my pscyh book and still made straight 60s on tests. The only thing that saved me was the extra credit. Hard to pay attention to in class and very tricky. Extremely hard class for an introductry course.

Boring professor. It's hard to pay attention in class & most people bring their laptops, making it even more difficult to listen to what he is saying. YOU MUST STUDY MORE THAN THE NOTES TO DO WELL ON THE TESTS.. he takes a LARGE portion of test questions from the book. Offers a lot of extra credit. Do it and it will significantly boost your grade.

Very abstract teaching method. Test material different than material covered in class. Must read excessively if you want to do well on tests. Take the class with a different teacher if you have the chance.

DO NOT take this professor...in order to pass this class, you must read and know every detail of the chapters that are being tested....my highest grade on his test was a high C :(

Very hard teacher! Go to class to get powerpoint notes and read the book. It helps, but tests are tricky and way too hard for an intro class. I was interested in minoring in psych but not anymore! Don't get Raymark! It is worth waiting to take this class to get an easier teacher. He is helpful and offers extra credit, but he is too hard!

His lectures are so boring. It's very difficult to listen to him while you copy down his powerpoints, which he refuses to post online. His tests are difficult because many of the questions are VERY vague and ambiguous. one a few people have every made a 100 on his tests...EVER! The extra credit is very helpful, though. Not recommended.

Far too difficult for an intro psychology class. His extra credit is fairly beneficial though. If you want an A or easy B, take someone else. If you want to study your ass off for a B, then this is your guy.

I really enjoyed this class. you have to go to class, take notes, and follow along in the book, but it is really interesting so its not hard to keep up with all of that. he tells storys to help you remember what we talked about and is really helpful. i would recommend him to anyone.

He is an awesome professor! He makes the class very interesting and gives you great notes on the chapters. You must go to class because there are questions from the lecture on the test. If you read the chapters that are assigned you will do fine on the test. Doing the extra credit and reading will give you an A or B in his class.

He was decent. The notes look really easy, but the test questions are rather ambiguous. You really have to copy the powerpoints word for word and make sure you read the chapters in the books before the tests. Extra credit is helpful though.

This class is too hard for an intro class. I ended up with a 79 in this class and was still given a C despite the fact that I showed up to class on time and participated the most in class. Nice guy, but he jipped me in the end.
