Good amount of notes(All of which are pertinent and interesting). I Suggest typing notes on a word document so it will be easy to access specific topics for quizzes and final. Very organized. THIS PROFESSOR IS FANTASTIC!! HE GIVES REAL LIFE EXAMPLES WITH EVERY SINGLE THING HE TEACHES AND MAKES YOU INTERESTED AND UNDERSTAND. HE IS VERY DOWN TO EARTH AND UNDERSTANDING. THE QUIZZES AND TESTS ARE TOUGH BUT HE GIVES IT TO YOU TO TAKE HOME. HE USES HIS OWN NOTES AND WRITES ON THE BOARD. BEST TEACHER I EVER HAD. WOULD RECOMMEND FOR EVERYBODY!!

Skipping this class is not a good idea because there is a 99% chance you missed something vital. This guy goes exactly by his syllabus and doesn't mess around or waste time. Good guy though, enjoyed this class, feel like I learned a lot. He is fair, too. Also, be sure you don't fall behind or you're pretty much done.

Is it a wonder only half a dozen people enroll in his class? The course is as easy/difficult as you want to make it. Do the work and you should be OK. I never cared much for Soc or Psych for that matter and this class emphasized that. If you like socialistic ideas fed to you by a Psychologist/Psychiatrist teaching Sociology go for it. It bit hard!!
