One of the best lectures in the biology department. A world renown Wild Rice Expect. Continues to teach, run honours and postgrad projects despite being in retirement. If he left at this point the department would lose an abundance of functionality and prestige, that they are unwilling to recoup. 11/10 one of the best people I've ever known.

A wonderful professor who truly cares for students. He writes down notes during the lectures and these are where all the midterm and exam questions come from. The tests are very fair with many of the questions on the practise test appearing on the actual test. He makes plants interesting.

A little bit annoying when he keeps clearing his throat, but super nice guy. He marks very easily and tests are only multiple choice and simple.

Write down everything he writes. Pay attention to the simple details. Fair tests...do the midterm review. He uses questions from it on the actual tests.

A wonderful, jolly older man who really, really likes plants and is incredibly knowledgeable. His notes are messy but if you listen to what he says it all makes sense.

Dr. Lee is the greatest. He is very nice and approachable. His lectures are clear and his notes are useful. The tests are based off the notes, so go to class. the upper year classes are much better than first year Plant Bio, in my opinion.

Awesome prof., one of my favorites for sure!!! He is such a nice guy and is funny in a nerdy way. I had him for two classes, plant bio which I enjoyed but was very dry, and Limnology which was my favorite class. He is much better in smaller class sizes for sure.

Traditional/older sort of prof. He had fun with the topic though, and knew that plants weren't exciting for everyone. He could even be pretty funny at times in a nerdy sort of way. The lectures were really helpful though - and his tests were challenging but if you went over the NOTES, you'd be fine.

Dr. Lee is your traditional "dusty" patched elbows prof. His lecture style is not captivating but is full of dry nerd humor. I had no idea plants were so awesome.

I loved Dr. Lee. He is so funny, and his notes are excellent. If you read your text and go to class, no problem. 82 on my first midterm. Stopped noticing the throat clearing like a week into lecture.

Very funny at times. Gets class interested. Can loose you with his overheads which can be confussing. Loves his job, may not be the most exciting speaker but gets the information across usually. Clears his throat very often which can be annoying at times, but, thats something he can't help.

I'm sorry but how many times do u have to clear your throat in a lecture...Ahem Ahem....ugh, very distracting. I appreciated that he gave us notes rather than speaking straight for an hour..but on exams half the content was nowhere to be seen in his notes or the text...so hope for the best !

students, unlike rice, need a little more stimulation. Not just reading straight from an overhead.
