Comment:
He had us read case studies, pedagogy, & discuss the ideas through our own lens by writing "briefs" that we would submit the night before. He would read, respond and we would have feedback at the beginning of class. Genius! EVERYONE was prepared and wanted to impress him! He incorporated our ideas into the class discussions. Most amazing class!!!

Class explores learning methods, cultures, and leadership styles. It explains structure, physical design, optimizing resources for “Personalized Learning.†It’s useful for any ‘Walk of life.’ It's amazing (Miraculous) he used 3 Blended learning styles in a single course. He packed a Truck load of rich (Concentrated) blessings into just 6 weeks.

Elmore's works are among the most influential in contemporary studies of education and social policy. His insights cut to the core about what plagues public education in the US and what can be done to support teachers to support students. A star among stars. Definitely one of the most influential people in the direction I took in my career.

Comment:
Professor Elmore is a scholar on the catastrophe of public schools where worksheets trump any type of theory of action in classrooms. This is a professor who goes beyond the fascinating readings to make students feel disquieted by the organizational politics of school and want to help. This is the type of professor you go to Harvard to learn with.

Comment:
He taught me a lot about politics and policy - and helped me become more interested in worldwide affairs in general. Thanks to him, I now look at the world with a more open and critical mind. I just wish Elmore would be just as helpful after one graduates - he has not submitted letters of rec, etc.
