Comment:
Passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. enjoyable class until she complains about class participation; she gets caught up in trying to get everyone to talk the same amount of time. She also does not keep up with her syllabus and tries to cram the last topics in without proper explanation. Very nice, but needs better time management.

Ridiculous 2 credit class. Instead of covering main points clearly and thoroughly, she tries to stuff an entire semester into a 3-week course. Exam is horrible and way too long for a 2 credit course. Although she is sweet and very likable as a person, this study abroad summer class is a huge mistake. Don't do it.

Just terrible ...the worst professor at Suffolk. IL has zero practical application. Sad to say, I should have listened to comments on this one.

She was pretty annoying in that she ended every class asking for more participation, even though half the class would be involved in discussion. Other than that, I found her very clear on what to focus on and the exam was very fair.

All she does in class is read out of the book and make numerous condescening and rude comments about our lack of participation, even when theres a good amount. No guidance as to what we're supposed to take from the class/what the test would be like. She also takes attendance and doesnt allow laptops. Horrible to sit through her class- Avoid.

paper class where 1/3 of your grade is participation. Read about 100 pages for each class and then the prof just rereads and we all make useless comments. Painful...avoid this teacher.

Prof Dillon is a wonderful person and professor. She does not allow computers in the class, but that helps you learn better. Her final is a 24-hour take home. The exam is straightforward and not difficult if you did the reading, but be warned that it will take you the full day so review beforehand. Also, she is very attractive and makes cute jokes.

Class participation is the key to keeping this course interesting. Seriously. Also: do the reading, you'll have to reference it all for the final anyways.

Do not take her int'l law class. Professor would only do two things in class: read from the book and listen to students' opinions. No guidance existed in this class. The worst professor I've had at Suffolk Law. The final would be covering and what it would be like was a mystery as well.

Even though her final is not that bad... she spends a significant amount of time reading outloud from the casebook and begging people to participate every class. It gets old very fast. I never heard one person have anything good to say about her intl law or intl trade classes.

DO NOT TAKE Int. Trade Law. Like the rest of the students here, I think Dillion is a fine professor. But the subject is by far the worst crap I've ever read in my life. It is boring, complicated, and provides no insight whatsoever into the macro level concepts of international trade. Take it, if you want to read 25 pages on how to define a single word!

Super intelligent and very hard worker (always in her office). Participate in class and you will be rewarded on the final, although the take home is pretty easy. Plays favorites in class. Very nice out of class. High quality professor.

Prof. Dillion is an amzing professor who is by far the best of the Int'l law dept. The Int'l law program would be worthless without her. I took both EU and Int'l Trade and loved them both. There will be lots of reading and in class work, but the payoff is you will actually remember the material. Can't say enough good things about her. She rocks.

Somtimes asks vague questions, but always wants people to understand what's going on. She won't go on if you say you don't understand. Kind of funny, nice to talk to one-on-one. Knows so much about the subject....
