I agree somewhat with other posts: Cronin's lecturing is boring and meanders. Additionally, the syllabus is useless. I recommend buying the E&E and following along that way. Additionally, when preparing for the exam, play out scenarios of Miranda violations and how they would be handled in MA v. Federal Ct. Do that and you're likely golden.

He knows what he's talking about, but he's a horrible lecturer. His syllabus was nothing more than a range of pages with no topics listed, the class structure was terrible has he jumped from case to case with out regard and the book was useless. I had to teach myself this class.

Lectures are rambling and incomprehensible, but he KNOWS the material and has a droll sense of humor. It's true that if you can get the old exams, you can easily do well in the class. Formulaic. Prepare to be bored in class, though.
