This class had many assignments, but it was worth it. 1 research paper, article discussion for each novel, discussion board and leader assignment, and book project. Points are accumulated to give the opportunity to omit the quiz at the end. Would take again!!

the best professor I have ever had. He is so sweet, and cares about all his students. All you have is 4 papers and not much homework at all. Would 10/10 recommend taking him!!!

Best professor ever. Sweetest guy who cares about everyone life outside of school. Lets you out early almost every class. Only have a few grades but he's an easy grader and willing to help.

Deena is the easiest prof I've ever had. All you have to do are read the assigned short stories and take EASY quizzes on them. Mid term and final are literally the exact same quiz questions, just combined into one big test

Dr. Deena is a good professor for an entry level English class. You don't do much in class time, a few quizzes based on the reading passages which are not long and you can usually work in pairs. 4 mid length papers written outside of class but he is happy to help if you need it. He is a good choice if you are looking to improve your writing skills.

Deena's class lectures are BORINNNGGG however he really knows his stuff. He loves to talk about his family and that's what our final should have been on lol. However, overall Deena is a great professor and the books that he assigned to read are really worth reading. His test are pretty easy as well. Reading and sparknotes and you'll pass.

I loved this class! He is a great instructor. The class is super easy if you read the books and he is not a harsh grader. The only complaint I would have is that he is a little unorganized but I would reccomend him to anybody!

I loved, loved, loved Mr. Deena!! gave lots of extra credit on the quizzes and is very easy. by far the easiest English I have taken. lots of writing and reading but its English! if you read and pay attetion in class and take notes, you'll do fine! he is a great caring guy who genuinly cares. Take him and you will not be disappointed.

Deena is an incredibly intelligent man. Be prepared to read and work in this class! It is not easy, but worth it to take it with him. He is very silly but so intellectual. He does have an accent but it does not detract from his teaching. Very passionate about literature. Great, VERY nice man

He is a great professor, though a little unorganized at times. Be prepared to read, because you will do a lot of it. His quizzes and tests won't kill you, you just need to make sure you're reading the books. He is as helpful as he can be.

The class is very interesting and students get to read great books and watch films that relate to the class topic. The instructor uses the discussion time very well and allows students to voice their opinions strongly however with respect to others. it is a class that introduces different cultures, and the instructor has many experiences to share.

The man is DISORGANIZED, period. Puts everything ahead of the class (which is cool, most of the time). Teaches the Bible like it is the word of God, but it's a Lit class. I feel he shouldn't been the one teaching that class, but I did get an A, so who am I to complain. Just show up every class. His test reviews are exactly the same as the TEST!!!

This guy is a trip! he's very funny as well as knowledgeable on the subject. He does assign some random stuff, but it's not like it doesn't go with the subject he's teaching. Would I take him again? Sure, bc he has a good sense of humor and a wide experience with the subject. Good stuff.

he's a great guy, and he definitely knows his stuff. doesn't make his classes his first priority; good luck if he chooses your class over a meeting. assigns random work that isn't on the syllabus and doesn't remind you of anything on the syllabus either. it's a good class...he could be better.

His courseload is very demanding, but when you finish reading the mountain of novels you're glad you were in his class. Very helpful and understanding. A first-rate professor.
