Mrs. Colvin was a great teacher. You have to attend class and pay attention. She offers plenty of extra credit material. This teacher knows what she is teaching. Show up for class and you will pass.

I don't know why there are negative comments about Professor Colvin on here, she is an awesome instructor! She does come in a little scatter-brained sometimes but she teaches courses at all Gadsden State campuses, so give her a break. She is easy to talk to and her course content is clear and easily accessible. I would recommend her to anyone.

Terrible class!! Showed up late and read the notes to you. Can't understand her teaching and doesn't help you at all. If you ask her questions she will not answer them. Will not take her again!! She acts like you are stupid.

She is probably the worst teacher over ever had. She told us the first day of class that we would not actually learn anything, just study for test then forget material and do it all over again. DO NOT take her. She puts study guides online you have to complete them, she will not tell you the correct answers so you can make sure your studying right

Her class was very difficult for me, as well as my fellow classmates. We all struggled and came early to class to study and discuss among each other. Over half our class withdrew before finals. She has a slight accent and pronounces some terms wrong which becomes confusing. Studying and attendance IS MANDATORY.

Ms. Colvin is the BEST! You learn so much in her class. If you ask for help she will make sure you get it. I think she is extremely smart and she cares about her students. You receive the grade you work for. It isn't easy but she is fair and this IS college.

This was a difficult but very interesting class. She definately knows her stuff, tells lots of stories, gives notes in ppt. If you study your notes (a lot) you should do ok. Don't expect an easy A though!

She doesn't answer your questions when you ask her.She only "pays attention" to those students "she likes." Try asking her a question and I promise you will feel "stupid." I have never had anyone,especially a teacher, act the way she does. I wouldn't recommend taking her unless you a prepared to be a "brown noser."
