Professor Collins is a solid professor. His lectures can be a little dry at times, but its always relevant information towards the subject matter. Easy exams, final paper was a breeze, completely recommend.

I took him for world history 1 and he's an okay teacher. Mostly its just going over notes the entire class. Only 3 big exams throughout the year and one big paper as your final you work on alongside studying. Its not a difficult class but you are expected to memorize a LOT of notes so make time for extra studying.

I took his class at NSCC and he was a great teacher. I'm not the best with history but if you show up and ask questions, you'll pass. His whole class is lecturing but all the notes are online and his tests are based on the notes you take. There is one essay all semester but he's very helpful and gives the option to earn extra credit on it.

He's a good teacher. Fairly easy grader. However all he does is lecture and they're pretty boring. But he does give out all the class notes which is very helpful. There's one paper which is 8-10 pages. And the only grades are 4 tests. Barely use the book. Would suggest his class.

Awesome professor but it was sort of like high school. He lectured the definitions and you wrote them down but the tests were exactly what he told you to write down so it was fairly easy. I don't think class was mandatory but he took attendance and I know if you got perfect attendance he gave you extra points on the exam. Also had a 8pg paper.

I find his class to be easy to be honest, 3 tests total, and a midterm paper which you do submit a rought drat that he reads helping you better the fnal one. Yea, he lectures, but just incase you are not a good notes takers, he always sends his lectures online. Take him, his good!

I took his online History class 1 and 2. He is reasonable, available, and reliable. Work consist of a page (at minimum)written and submitted on a discussion question and website review. 4test consisting of mutichoice, 5 short discuss, and 1 essay. Term paper due at the end. Sounds like alot but isnt bad. Reading is the worse part 1-2 chap a week.

William Collins is the best professor that I have ever had!! He so enjoy his class, that makes my learning more interesting and exciting. He always ready to help you, wont give you hard assignments(I had only one research work during all term). Unfortunately, he speak not so clearly, but after couple of classes it wont seem to be a problem.

Very impersonal prof. (not that it's a bad thing). Get to class on time, take your notes, study for exams(3) and do your termpaper. Hard to understand sometimes. Not the best but not the worst.

If there is one Professor who makes History classes enjoyable, this is him. All you have to do is 3 or 4 exams which are mostly multiple choice, a few definitions, and 1 essay. Then, a research paper at the end, cake. If you pay attention to his lectures and take notes when he emphasizes on certain topics, your as good as gold.

Bad. He paint the entire history of the world in huge paint strokes. Makes comments on current politics that have nothing to do with class. Tests are very long and ask vauge questions.
