His lectures may be difficult to keep up with, but he's not adverse to answering any and every question a student might have. If you learn the vocabulary, and some of the dating concepts, you'll be fine. His class is set up for the student to pass. There will be a project due at the end of the semester; includes a 10pg essay, ppt, & poster board.

Nice guy, but like others stated, not meant to teach. He is smart and well educated in geology, however, his lectures are too fast and all over the place.

I love Dr. Adams. He is an expert geologist. Every time I look at the world around me now, I apply the knowledge I learned from Dr. Adams and analyze the origin, history, and structure of the land. A great habit.

I thought his class was fun. He did go a little fast through his power points but everything he was going over was in the textbook. His test were very fair, especially with the extra credit. He was helpful when I had questions and If you want to pass his class just show up, take notes, participate, do the reading and you will be fine.

He speeds through his power point lectures where the notes r from & u cannot get the information quick enough. He will not provide these notes on his website nor will he slow down. My hand kept cramping trying 2 take notes. The quizzes were awful, hard & long. He is a terrible teacher who needs to enter into the computer age or retire.

Comment:

He would state tat we were in college now and its supposted to be difficult but this is the worst class I had to take. He isn't helpful at all and his tests are not related to what the book talks about. Everyone in class had trouble with his way of teaching.
