Professor Davis is an amazing professor who actually cares about her students. If you have any issues or just need extra help she is vey understanding and patient with you. It is important to show up to class on time and be sure not to miss too many days because you will miss out on vital information. Class discussions are great and appreciated!

Mrs. Davis is an awesome teacher and is very knowledgeable in African American Lit. The class is not hard, but you will have to work for your grade. She treats you as if you're an adult and you are to carry yourself as so. She makes sure you are prepared for university type courses in English. Don't be late because the information is important.

Mrs Davis is the best teacher I've had! Very caring and attentive to personal needs of student. She is very helpful and gives each student one on one time to ensure studets are on track and understand. Her class has a lot of work but if you follow all the rules and always LISTEN to her hints you will pass exams and assignments. SHE IS THE BEST!

Came in to this class with almost no writing skills whatsoever and terrible prior experience with the subject. Ms. Davis will go out of her way to make sure you have everything you need to do well in her class. It was very difficult but if you put forth a strong effort, you will do well in her class.

too many changes involving schedules. gets hard at the end when she pours multiple assignments on you. all in all i didn't learn anything. just a required course that a teacher shouldn't take so passionately. recommend someone else unless you like a challenge for no reason

I loved to class, but at the same time I hated it with a passion. Lots of work, with a very strict grading scale, however she is more than willing to work with you and tell you everything you need to know so that when you revise the paper you get an easy A. Attendance is important! Highly recommended class, she's a fun teacher and you'll learn lots

I'm more of a "math and science" kind of guy so I was dreading taking this class and other English classes before it. However, Prof. Davis did a fantastic job of helping me to improve both my writing and critical analysis. I never thought I'd enjoy an English class. She expects a lot out of you but she is there to help every step of the way.

She is very kind and giving of her time. She tells you from day one what she expects. She gives you oppertunities for extra credit and gives stong feedback on all papers. She also returns papers and quizzes the following class period. She does get mad easily but she gets over it pretty quick. Go to class and do the work and you will be fine!
