I got my Master's at BU in Higher Ed and out of all professors, he was THE MOST HELPFUL and the ONLY one that I felt truly cared about his students learning. He took an interest to teach research to students and ONLY material that you will use in your every day life. I can't say enough about him. The TAs were bad, but he was the BEST professor ever

I'm amazed that a professor who teaches education students is so monumentally bad. Incredibly boring, even beyond the material; constantly explains concepts that we "don't need to know"; doesn't seem at all aware of assignments or the articles he requires students to read; TA appears to do everything except teach, but she might as well do that too.

Beware. Worst course ever. Changes rules and stakes for criteria. Makes material impossible to learn. TA & Bruce treat students with contempt. Unfair grading system. Grade is mystery until end. Unreasonable workload at the end- says course is front loaded. Poor methodology- ironic in School of Education. Boring, Deadly, Unethical and Cruel F-

He is a fantastic professor. He is a tough teacher, and a little rude but that is part of why he is so good. I learned a lot. He doesn't tolerate crap, which I find really helpful. Even if you are the best in the class, he will give you a hard time if you don't give him your best work.

Comment:
Fraser is utterly offensive. Actually made several students cry, in and out of class. Patronizing and belittling. Never once managed to create a lesson plan. Three hours of betting which student(s?) would jump out the window first. Constantly mentions how boring he's sure the material is. Often disagrees with book. Doesn't know the material.

Comment:
In all my years as a student, never have I suffered a professor nor a course as ineffectual as these. The material is entirely technical terminology & while the professor promises you needn't memorize but Internalize the Concepts, there's no means of passing the 3 massive "quizzes" without rote memorization. Three hour course, every minute Mindles

This class is a lot of work, but there's not a whole lot you can do about it considering its required. The lectures are helpful for covering the PQQ questions. Don't read the chapters twice as they suggest. You're better off with one reading of the chapter, going over the questions, and studying the questions before test time.

This class was alot of work, but I found it very useful and helpful. Professor Fraser used many helpful examples and was willing to meet with students anytime they had questions. Including adding study sessions.

Professor Fraser meant well but his course should have been eight credits instead of four and as an MAT student I found it irrelevant to my course of study. Also - BORING Also - lectures are unnecessary for passing exams - I attended every single one.
