CAROL IS A GEM. Literally the kindest human being you will ever meet. I took bio 131 as a non-stem major, and the class was honestly pretty easy. I didn't buy the textbook and really didn't do much for the class but she was always SO accessible and wanted to help us so much. This is an EASY class.

Amazing professor, really passionate about her work and classes. Awesome field trips. We went camping for a weekend, we go hiking every lab and she bought us ice cream because it was too hot. 10/10 nicest human ever.

I loved Prof. Loeffler! She was an amazing professor and was really interested in the subject matter. Gives really great outlines of what she teaches with every class, so there is really no need to take notes. Also really don't need to buy the textbook if you are only planning on taking one Bio class.

Amazing professor. Very nice person. Truly dedicated to her research field. I liked the fact that we have a weekly quiz instead of an exam. I actually get to study every week and learn stuff rather than cramming everything before a big exam. like her teaching style a lot. also she is very generous on grading..:)

Although Animals, Plants and Fungi doesn't sound interesting, It wasn't as bad as I thought. The tests are super easy, as long as you know everything on the review sheet that she hands out a few days before the test. DON'T BOTHER BUYING THE BOOKS. I barely used them, the second one I didn't even open. Best part of class was Attenborough videos.

She is truly dedicated to her subject and students. Possibly the best teacher I've ever had. She is always willing to give people several chances to get things right, and has plenty of time to meet with people who want to learn more. Her classes are great, and her labs are fantastic and super-fun; especially if you get to go camping.
