Assigns homework, quizzes, and test all on MyMathLab. He does not know what will show up on any of these. He is hard of hearing so if you have a question make sure to speak loudly. He also shakes a lot so be prepared to read some awful handwriting. He hates phones in class and he will take your phone if he sees it. Don't take him, he is no help.

This professor does not know how to work the MyMathLab and rarely responds to your emails. His handwriting is very difficult to read and some of the information that he tried to teach us in class wasn't on the homework. So basically, we had to teach ourselves. I would not recommend taking this course with this professor!!!

Do not take this professor! Explains things in the most difficult way possible. He barely knows how to work the MyMathLab site. I couldn't understand his handwriting on the board and it took a toll on my grade.

I started this class with no understanding of math at all. I got an A. If the subject matter isnt clear you are not listening or practicing outside of class. If you want to be good at math you have to do math. No study no pass.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! You will learn more from the book and tutors because he'll say to use a different method from the book and tutors. His jokes are also kind of distracting and assumes we know most of the material already. Lastly, he only explains two or three parts in a section then goes on to the next section.

He is a tough teacher. His tests are really hard. But if you ask for help, he will help you the best way he can. I didnt make over a 50 on any test including my final exam and i ended up with a C in his class. Do your homework and make a good portfolio and you'll do fine.

For USC-Upstate to be one of the top schools in certain programs they need to get rid of him. He says he has been teaching since 1970, and he is stuck in his old ways. He takes half of class to go over one question and still do not answer the question, if you dont understand he will tell you to get a tutor. If you want a good grade get a good teach
