Professor Hodge and I bumped heads a few times, and at first I thought she was mean. She is not!! She wants every one of us to pass, but also wants us to know the material! If you want to get the most out of your CNA experience, take her. No one is going to better prepare you for the CNA world. Thank you Hodge!!

Ms.Hodge is really blunt and is not afraid to put you on the spot. I had her for clinic at La Verne and i strongly recommend taking her. Shes an awesome instructor and you will learn fast and easy. She'll walk you step by step on any procedure. AWESOME! Strict but will help you in any way possible for you to understand everything. AWESOME professor

I'm in her clinical class now. Some ppl were taken back by her "in-your-face/tell-it-like-it-is" attitude, but it is for your own good. For anyone that is sensitive and/or needs to be coddled, find another teacher (or even better, another profession...seriously!)

I had heard thru the nursing students that she was a bad instructor. I took a risk at taking a unit secretary class she taught one time. Not too many people signed up. No wonder. Unorganised spent 100 bucks on book we never used. She talked about her life! Found out more about her than the class! She sucks as a teacher! Stay away!
