Comment:

Awful teacher. Passed this class, but did not learn a thing in her lectures. Very scatterbrained and difficult to follow. Condescending in her answers. Asked questions about the homework, and she instructed me to read the book rather than show me how to approach the problem. Stickler with showing work and steps on the pre-quizzes, quizzes .

I really liked this teacher. I am not a math person at all, but the hybrid class is passible. I'm alittle surprised by this rating, she was very willing to help. I would take her hybrid class again. The quizzes are daily, but they are group quizzes so that helps. I would suggest her to a friend!

She's a pretty chill teacher. She'll help you if you don't understand anything & if you ask for it. She's not a difficult teacher but the subject that she teaches is VERY difficult. Much of the material usually must be self-taught.

I took her hybrid class. She's not a terrible person, but she isn't good at teaching. Or perhaps she could be or once was, but simply isn't interested in it anymore. As previous posters have said, study guides are rarely helpful with test content and much of the work you do is work you do on your own--there is little help.

Not the best professor if you learn best with someone aiding your every step. I took the hybrid option and pretty much taught myself. I had class once a week with quizzes every week. There are 4 exams, including the final which covers everything throughout the course. If you choose Donley, the hybrid route could help a lot.

shes good for nothing but passing out papers. doesnt teach. makes students get into groups where nobody knows anything. her hybrid class was the worst mistake of my life. tests are irrelevant. study guides dont help with tests. gives cheat sheet opportunity, but really its useless because study guide has no test material. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!

If you take the Hybrid class, you should expect to be teaching yourself something. The class is not mandatory, but attendance is taken by sign in sheet at the end. HW is all online, via connect math. It can be difficult but she is willing to help in her office hours. She's not evil, and can definitely provide insight, math is a hard subject!

Being a Math major I was very interested in this class. However, once I learned that this teacher doesn't teach I promptly droppes this class for another professor. You are required to literally teach yourself while she just quizzes you on the material. If I wanted to teach myself, I wouldn't have paid for her class...

Horrible teacher... All I have to say. If you are stuck between her and someone else, please don't pick her. You will be teaching yourself this semester if you take her. All she's good for is going over hw(Sometimes) and passing out exams.

HARD! Has you get into groups and teach eachother math with notes she made you take home previously. NOBODY knows what there doing OBVOUSLY were all students so its just confusing. Most learning came from math homework. Dropped out of her class after realizing I was going to fail even though I put SO much effort into it. DONT TAKE HER!

I took the hybrid class, and was highly disappointed. Most of the teaching came from ConnectMath, which I spent most of my time fighting with. Class is review of printed notes, then a quiz, with little interaction or help. I stuck with it as long as I could, but eventually I joined the rest of the class and dropped (there was barely anyone left).

I had to drop this class because I couldn't learn with Donley. She is next to useless in class, all the lessons are reading over the notes that you receive online and little more then a quiz. All of the work is online via connect math, and you'll be fighting the program more then learning. It's a tough class cause the professor, not the content.

she is a wonderful teacher...if you are having difficulty understanding the material she is more than willing to help if you ask her..the class is easy if you do the homework and show up, but your not going to get an A by doing nothing. she is a foxy older woman and i would recommend her

I had her for her hybrid class, Intro to Probability and Stats. I had taken hybrid & online math classes before successfully, but this is by far the most difficult class I have ever taken, and not because of the material. She is USELESS in class, going over notes that are self explainitory, & is unhelpful in all her answers to student questions.

AVIOD THIS CLASS!! AVIOD THIS TEACHER!! I'm sorry, I meant Doctor. She won't let you forget it. Apparently you should be a math wiz before entering her class. The majority of the class including myself dropped this class half way through because she is ridiculous!! She explains things like she's reading out of an encycopedia.

Don't take her class If you've already registered, you'll notice that the class size is going to drop. fast. she's impolite, doesn't answer questions, teaches as though every lecture is review, assigns insane amounts of homework (sometimes 200 or more problems a week) Quizzes are in groups so pick a smart group and don't buy the textbook. good luck

Its a tough subject to teach. Her notes that she gives you are extremely useful. All quizzes were group quizzes. Shes not a bad teacher, its just a hard subject to learn. I liked her and thought she taught it well. If people dont get it then ask her and she'll help you out. If you miss a day youll miss out on important info so attendance is needed

She is by far the worst teacher ever! She treats her students like they're knowledgable of the curriculum when they have no clue what she is talking about. She's very vague and moves at a pace that even a genius couldn't keep up with. I've never wanted to punch a teacher so much till now.
