Professor Heinssen was amazing, he was funny and caring, his expectations were clear and if you demonstrate that you know the material you can score a point or 2 extra credit on each assignment. I liked him so much I took a 2nd class with him!!

Not a terrible teacher for math. Tests are huge part of your grade and there is a lot of HW, but if you do the work you will do well in his class. He's very boring...Also gave me a B+ when I got an A on 3/4 tests, very disappointing for how much work I put in, but he's helpful and will make sure u pass.

I am finding that he is extremely helpful. He is the first teacher that is making me understand the material. We hardly get out early, but you can't expect that from every teacher. He answers a lot of questions when it comes to the homework and gives a good study guide for test. I would take him again if he is available for my best math class.

WORST TEACHER EVER!!i felt obligated to warn all other students.im usually a straight A student and he ruined my gpa; he doesnt teach at all! he gives tons of homework every day, never lets you out early, and no late assignments or extra credit.

I was a straight "A" student till i had this guy's class. It's funny how i got an "A" in Math 510, an "F" in his class (Math 520) and an "A" in Math 410 and another "A" in Math 25. Chaffey needs to listen to the students, he stinks!!
