I found that Professor Cooper's grading system was confusing, however, he is very understanding and helpful. Although the homework is not very difficult, participation in class and for projects is very important.

Comment:

Cooper is a wonderful human, incredibly kind and caring, funny, and will help you outside of class in any way you need. If you need a refresher in Spanish or just need to learn Spanish grammar, then this class is perfect for you. If you don't know Spanish already, his class is VERY unstructured and hard to follow. Some material is rushed/skipped.

This professor is nice, however, he only speaks in Spanish. I understand that immersing your self into the culture can help but not when you don't understand what is happening in class. I have gotten all A's while in college except for this class. I would never take him again. Avoid it if possible.

Cooper is an amazing professor that truly cares about each individual student and takes time to ensure that every student understands the material. He allows for plenty of questions from students, and in this way, the class is customized to each individual student. His quirky sense of humor and high knowledge of Spanish made the class wonderful!

Great lectures, answers any questions really well. Fun and low pressure classroom environment. If you show up and do homework, you should pass fairly easily. Great, caring teacher!

Mr Cooper is a very understandable person. If you have an issue outside of class he'll help you work around that schedule and give you some leeway. Hes very nice, easy to understand.He makes things clear and easy to follow. Someone below said he shouldnt be trusted and doesnt ask for your homework. Thats a lie. It's on you to get your own work done

He is a very kind teacher and does his best to help his students. The woorkbook is time consuming but helpful; the class time is long and not helpful. I feel like he would be better in one hour classes but the time is used inefficiently in two hour classes. Hes a great techer but you'll have to work outside of class and absorb while in class.

For all those who fear Spanish TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! He is very clear and very kind. He will expect u to do as much work as you possibly can but still understands if u can't. He tries his best to help u understand and pass the class. He will never embarrass u. he is welcoming even if you are a bad student. he's aways happy. He never misses a class.

Great teacher! Class definitely doesn't drag, he keeps things fun and interesting. Very helpful. Make sure that you take lots of notes and study regularly and you'll do fine.

Professor Cooper is a great teacher. He has a boyish charm to him that makes him very likeable. As long as you keep up and ask questions, you'll pass easily. He's a smart man and wants his students to do well. I would definately recommend him!
