STAY IN HER OFFICE!!!! The lectures were okay she does not answer questions fully..what upset me is she the tests have surprises on them which is material she did not cover in lecture nor assigned for homework. I never missed a class and did the homework and on test day it was disappointing to see material we had not gone over

She was aweful! She went through class so fast and didn't answer questions fully. She was not very helpful and rather discouraging. Her help during office hours was a joke - no help at all!!!!

Dr. Tanju was a pretty tough teacher. She was very thorough. However she was also very helpful outside of class. Make sure you do your homework several times over before the test and you'll do better on the tests.

She is not a very good teacher. She skips steps and expects you to understand. She hasn't taught this course since 1992 and yes it does show. I attended every class and studied the material. Also her test are mostly essay questions and she takes lots of points off.

She is a GREAT teacher. She is VERY helpful to any student that needs anything. She loves for you to be interactive and email her about things. You do have to study your butt off for her tests, but it is well worth it. The tests are mostly essay questions so you will have to thoroughly know the topics she is teaching.
