Comment:

Dr. Hodkinson was very helpful when I had to miss class after a death in the family. She kept me informed about what we covered by sending emails with notes & exercises with their answers. She even wrote little explanations in the margins and if I didn't understand, I could email her again and she always answered really quickly. Great professor!

Comment:

It's nice to be in a class with a professor who obviously enjoys what she is doing. Very upbeat, even at 8:00 am. If you have to miss class, you should contact her and she will email copies of the work that was done so that you can keep up. She really wants her students to succeed and is available outside of class to help you. Recommend!

This was the only class that I looked forward to. Professor Hodkinson is energetic, enthusiastic, and pretty entertaining. I learned a lot and laughed a lot. She encourages and supports students who are struggling and never makes you feel stupid for asking a question. I recommend her.

She is a great professor and makes learning Spanish fun, even at 8 in the morning. It is very easy to get an A in the class without learning anything because she gives you exactly what will be on the test before you take it, so if you actually need to retain the information you'll have to try a little harder.

She makes spnaish fun! I have her at 8 o'clock in the morning, and she definitely wakes me up. I'm usually not a big fan of spanish, but with her it's a different story. The tests are generally easy, and all the reviews are online. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone needing an easy 3 hours of spanish for there gen eds.

Comment:

I learn more from Professor Hodkinson than I have from all my previous teachers combined. Now I understand WHY things are done the way they are. Just memorizing or communicating with lots of errors doesn't appeal to me. I have to feel I have mastery of the process. Great teacher and great lady.
