Amazing!!! Hands down the best English professor I could've asked for. She's not lenient at all but I loved that. It required me to try and try hard! I finished the course a much better writer for it.

She is a tough teacher, but I respect her for it. She is clear that it will not be an easy class. You won't get away with getting be the minimal. She will expect you to do the work that needs to be done. Her online class was tough, for for good reasons. She is not at all lenient, no late work accepted and no extra credit. You will need to focus

Comment:

Dr. Kamm is not one to let her students skid by. If you are not attending classes, you will not pass, but if you are she will do her best (considerable, as she has a PhD) to help you improve. I found her helpful and intelligent. Those that complained about her were those still accustomed to high school teachers.

Not at all helpful or understanding. I was 6 points away from being able to bump up a grade and I approached her and asked if I could edit one of my papers to fit with the feedback she gave me and was told no due to the fact that once assignments are turned in they are final. Really? Wouldn't even work with me on 6 points

As long as you make an effort, show up, and participate (speeches, book work, etc) then you will have no problem getting an A. She does like to be referred to as "Dr" but if you got your PhD, wouldn't you? She will not get mad, however if you call her Becky or Dr Kamm. Wonderful class and Wonderful teacher. Couldn't have asked for a better one. :)

Dr. Kamm's classes were well organized, structured and clear. She was encouraging to students that had difficulty with public speaking, and insightful to the more experienced. You get out what you put in, in Dr. Kamm's classes. Great Professor.

Very strict teacher. If you keep up in class she is a fair grader. I got an A from her in Comp 2 and Speech. Hand assignments in early and she will give you corrections before they are due. she is very helpful if your willing to put the work into the class but it is alot of work. Speech was easy just get your work done.

This lady is the worst teacher I've ever had. Did all assignments and did what was in assignments but still recieved F's on most of them. Barely responded to emails about grades and is a very unnapproachable and hostile teacher. Dodge this teacher at all cost!

She is horrible. She waited till the middle of the semester to clue us in on "her" APA format pink book, located in Calmar of course. I sent the format I was using to a Dr. of English in California and they could find nothing wrong, Kamm gave me an F. She is unhelpfull and not adviseable.
