Crosslin is quite an interesting man. When he's in a good mood class is enjoyable. We had four papers and then a final portfolio that constituted the majority of the grade. Not once did he give an A to any of the students' first papers, so don't freak out. Work hard on the portfolio and you can change that grade to an A.

Cynical but humor totally makes up for it. He does care even though it seems like he hates everything sometimes. all you do in this class is write papers and a critical portfolio at the end.

he is hilarious & very sarcastic. he knows what he is talking about & is a great teacher. 5 papers each worth 5% of grade. portfolio at the end is 55% of grade. & a final that you use your portfolio to write. he?s extremely helpful & if you go to him about help on a paper he will go over the whole thing with you. I would definitely recommend him!

Had him in high school, and was the most amazing man i have ever learned from. Cross-Dawg is one of the most informative, fun, and helpful english teachers out there. Be sure to ask him about his trip to russia, as well as Busta kitty and 24 haha

I took his AP English class at my high school and LOVED him. He is super funny and always has a good story if you ask him. Be sure to ask him about his obsession with Fritos dipped in Ice Cream. I look forward to being able to take his classes in college! He is a tough grader though...

Great man! He might seem a little crazy at first, but you'll be glad you took him. He's very willing to help with corrections, but don't expect him to re-write your paper. He's very strict on absence and tardiness, so show up if you sign up. He does have a humorous side and can have some pretty interesting stories.
