Comment:

I took his class some 22 years ago, and I have been laughing for the past 10 minutes reading all the comments. They took me way back, and seeing that some were posted in the 2010s I can see some things haven't changed (half sentences, etc). He is a nice gentleman, but has poor comunication skills, and his teaching methodology is can be a shock !

Grade is based on 4 quizzes only. She only teaches via power points that she puts online and does not assign homework. It's almost a self taught class which is difficult if you suck at math to begin with. When asked to give example problems she has a hard time coming up with them off the top of her head. Nice but would be easier if hmw was assigned

He is willing to help and he seems to know the subject. However he does not know how to transmit knowledge and his feedback about Milestones is really poor and contradictory. He wrote the textbook, which is plenty of mistakes. Try to avoid him, if you can.

This prof is friendly and easy going. It is true that his guidelines aren't always clear, but he is absolutely willing to clarify anything and everything. He wants his students to do well and understand. The class is interactive, and he makes the learning environment enjoyable.

I must agree with many of the comments I've read here about this professor. He is an extremely nice gentleman, and you can tell he wants to help....BUT....his project requirements are very unclear. He'll approve a project milestone one week, then fail the same milestone the next week....very confusing.

A scar on the face of the entire Concordia business program. He teaches technology, but every class, without fail, it took him at least 40 minutes to get the projector started. I don't know what extreme lack of screening ever allowed him to become a Concordia professor. Shook my entire belief in the alleged benefits of higher education.

Poor communication language and skill, lack of leadership as professor, non cooperative attitude, talking of user requirements, but himself he does not understand the student's needs and requirement. I would never take any course with this professor. As a very serious student, I would never take any classes with this professor

It is true that the professor's requirements are not that clear but he does make a great effort answering questions by email. If you have a background in object oriented programming you'll be fine. Otherwise, don't take the course and do comp 218 first. I actually enjoyed his class. Just work hard and pick the right ppl for the project.

Super bad, the problem is that there is no other section to enroll so if you are a MIS student you are stuck with him. Consider dropping or changing major if you want to avoid. Many thought about dropping the MIS major after his class.

bad teacher! grades on the format of your work not on what youve done and then embarrases you in the final presentation. Also having said that, he wants you to complete his final exam which is a whole semester and project work, which you havent understood anything for in 2 hours.

El sayyed abu zeid claims that he has a degree in nuclear mathematics, i think that nuclear mathmetics should ban this guy from claiming that he is related to it. he is a shame to the entire academic world and must be fired immediately to save the department's name

Simply the worst teacher in the MIS department. This guy grades in a day and takes off on vacation with no explanation of final grades. He cannot write in english properly and he grades simply on attendance, if you want a decent grade in his class suck up or get screwed!!!!!
