As an art student, your foundation courses are very important. Ive taken 2D& Color Theory. Simple put.. she is a perfectionist, challenging and well educated. If you want an A, do quality work as an artist! Whining and pissing ur time on ur IPod or cell phone has no reflection on her. You get what you put into the class..period!

She will drive you absolutely nuts, like she's off her rocker crazy, but she knows her stuff. If you can get past all the crazy and actually pay attention and follow her directions you'll end up with an amazing portfolio. She's really hard about having crisp clean work, and is honest about what she thinks about your work. Must have thick skin.

her class was pointless. it should be called "taping theory with a bit of color matching" rather than color theory. sure she shows you how to mix colors, but if you don't know after kindergarten that red + yellow = orange than you shouldn't be in college! oh and who the heck gave her a hot rating? she's scary!

Challenging and a perfectionist but I learned ways to make colors I would have never learned elsewhere. Projects can get complex conceptually, but I came out with a great portfolio. Highly recommend and worth the work.

Boring. Obsessed with clean edges and simple geometric shapes. Get one speck of paint outside of your taped edges, she'll hand your project back to you and make you redo it. I learned nothing except how to press tape down hard on paper so that paint doesn't leak. No room for creativity. No theory, just color matching. Talks like Snuffleupagus.

Expect to raise your standards - challenging and a perfectionist. Lots of supplies but you get to try lots of different ways of painting. Drag is no music or headphones in class and she expects you to spend the whole class working

She definitely knows her stuff as far as painting goes, but she expects a lot of work and she's too much of a perfectionist. You will learn a lot from her though. She gets annoying after a while. Sometimes it seems like no one's work is ever good enough for her. Good luck!

She expects a lot of work and is not always clear in her assignments, though she does offer help. She seems to think that she is better than the students, and thus treats you like a child. A lot of work, headaches, and a lot of $$ for her class.
