Comment:

Depending on her mood class usually ran pretty smooth. She always wants us to ask questions and then would become annoyed by us asking too many questions. She grades very hard and changes due dates frequently. I feel we learned nothing the last two units and was told this would be taken into account for the last exam and final but it wasnt.

Had to take her during the corona pandemic. She basically said she would fail anyone who didnt have access to a computer. accommodating? Nope condescending? Yes. She is a picky grader and rarely gives As on assignments. Promises extra credit thats she ends up taking away at the end. Dont take her!

Excessive homework or in this case - busy work. Hard to learn from your mistakes when some is not actually graded, but you are just given "points" for doing the work. Her way or no way.

She is an honors teacher and acts like her regular class is honors. She will disrespect you and your group, yell and put people down. She is very confusing. If you dont get 100% of everything, expect to go to office hours, and expect the whole class to know because she has no digression. If you need a phy class, basic, then please take a dif class

This teacher truly expects students to study 3 hours out of class for every 1 hour in class. She will tell you or your group to redo labs and get highly frustrated when something isnt right. Shes a VERY TOUGH GRADER. Take her if you already know the subject or you'll be left with zero free time during the semester. Way to much hw.

I would NEVER take this teacher. She gives hours worth of homework. Pages from the book, a work book, labs and more. She acts as though this is your ONLY class. She talks down to people and can be very rude. Labs don't seem to have a purpose. I would recommend any other teacher. Tough grader. No late work. Going to class is a must. Not sympathetic

I took Dr. Savrda for Physics with calculus I & II honors. By far she is one of the most respected professors I met. We had the chance to do a research / final project which was incredible. She is a helpful professor and has a lot of expectation from her students. Even though she assigns a lot of homework it is for a good cause and labs are amazing

I was hesitant at first to take her, but it was the best decision I made. I took Physics 1 and 2 with her. You have to work for your grade but she gives you all the resources you need to earn your grade. If you communicate with her she is understanding and will give leniency, but communication is key. She will work with you until you understand

Very disorganized!! No set schedule of assignments or due dates. Tons of work. Very nice lady but not the best teacher. In her class you learn the subject on your own time. She is just there to assign work. Get ready to go to tutoring.

I have NEVER taken physics before this class. She's very challenging but as long as you show her you care and do the work I PROMISE you will get the grade you deserve. I learned so much and she is very understanding and will help you with any questions you have at any time. PS- START HW EARLY!! It is super time consuming.

Very petty with points. No extra credit. Too much time on kiddy labs & not enough on the math. Way too much work that she can't keep track of. Gets frustrated easily then grade is affected. Had her for Physics 1 & 2, got an A then B. My friend had her for Physics 1 and barely made an A. He took Werner for Physics 2 and had an easy A+. TAKE WERNER!!

She is not a good professor. Her teaching style is horrid and if not for there being a limited amount of teachers for physics that can fit into my schedule, Ii would not be taking her for physics 2. I do not recommend her. She's by far my least favorite professor that I had the displeasure of encountering.

I had a terrible experience in Gen Phy 1 with a different professor and i thought id be totally screwed for gen phy 2. Thus far, i wish i took her for gen phy 1. I never once looked in the textbook except when doing problems for extra credit. 4 tests and If you have an A you do not need to take the final. labs, group quizzes, and homework daily.

Very difficult. Requires it to be done her way and goes a very round about way to get the answer. Math oriented people won't like her because she could care less about the math but she wants the pictures and process. Grades the homework like a test!!! Very difficult to get a 100 on hw. BUT if you go to her office hours, she WILL help w it

Dr S is a very nice and friendly person, but not the best teacher. She is VERY detail-oriented, meaning she'll take off lots of points for not following "her format", even if your answer is correct. If you take her class, make sure you're not taking any other classes because there's lots of busy work assigned. So, it's her way, or the highway!

If she doesn't like you she will grade you based on that. You will lose points for no reason at all if she doesn't like you. My answers would match my classmates exactly and I would lose 7 points and they would lose none. Do not take her if you want a good grade.
