I didn't even major in anthropology, and Dr. Everson's classes were my favorite. They're chock full of information, challenging, and rewarding. She'll make you sweat, overthink everything, and read until your eyes turn red and write until your hands cramp, but I learned more from her than from any other professor there.

Very passionate about her area, and has more advanced students lead lectures with a partner. She frequently employs multimedia examples in her lectures. Her tests, though, are a workout. A "short" answer should be at least half a page long to incorporate all the information she wants.

Absolutely wonderful. Very passionate about her subject and more than willing to help you when you need it and work with you if you have problems. She expects the very best out of all of her students and makes it known on a regular basis. Very creative when it comes to incorporating modern examples into her lessons.

Dr. Everson cares that her students do well. If you want an easy trip, she is not the one to accompany you on it. She expects you to do work. But she certainly is ready and willing to help you out along the way. One of the most rewarding experiences I have had at Lyon.
