Comment:
Professor White was a great Professor. Though, the only thing that is graded is four tests and one assignment. The tests were biweekly, and the week before he would give a practice test (or sometimes more than one) with multiple attempts but then those questions would then be on the next weeks test. Lots of lecture notes but they're helpful.

Professor White is a great professor. Despite the fact of taking his class online his personality still shows (funny). There is a lot of reading that you will be quizzed on. He does provide a study guide which is super helpful. Treat the study guide as HW & complete it you'll do fine on the quiz. If you ever have questions he responds quickly.

Great professor his lectures are informative and engaging. I like how he structured the class and always emailed us with what was going on during the election. 4 exams & 1 assignment that is super easy if you read the modules. This class always seems scary but he really made it so easy and interesting!

Professor White is actually pretty cool, can have either a dry sense of humor or dark sense of humor there is no inbetween with this guy, but i would recommend, it can be boring some days but then again it really does depend on the student, PARTICIPATION POINTS MATTER! Try and and answer his questions even if you dont know it will really help out!

Professor White is dry-humored, extremely smart when it comes to politics, and goes over the material in a way that is comprehensible for everybody; he reviews things the day before the exam (so make sure to show up), and he gives lectures just about everyday. As long as you take extensive notes, you will pass. Exams are moderately easy. Scarce HW.

Would definitely recommend taking him. He is very knowledgable on the subject and breaks the material down to a very simple manner for everyone to understand. He keeps it simple, he also has a dry and monotone sense of humor and very laid back. Also kinda funny too.

Highly recommend him for PS1. I took him over the summer and got an A+. Tests can be a little tricky, but he gives you a study guide and all answers are based on his lectures, so just take good notes and focus on the study guide terms. He's great at teaching the subject, pushes you to think outside the box, and does test reviews prior to tests.

Might offer extra credit at the end of the semester. Answers questions. Barely uses powerpoint. Be ready to record his lectures or take pictures of the material on the board, if you're a slow writer.

Took him my first semester at Chaffey and loved his class. Very thorough--writes a lot on the board. Recording lectures can help, take pictures of the board. I bought the book--he expects you to read through it. If you're looking to skate by, don't take the course, he likes what he does, the class is best if you're interested in the topics.

Loved his class. Asks for the class to participate. Tests are kind of difficult, but you'll do fine if you study the notes, study guide, as well as the chapters in the book. Highly recommend getting the book!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the class.

GREAT instructor. Kept the class at just the right level, where total beginners to politics, as well as someone who knows a bit, are engaged. He's funny, and keeps the class involved a lot of the time by having us finish the sentence for him during lecture. I learned a LOT. Tests were hard, but he offered a lot of extra credit possibilities. :-)

Amazing teacher! ALWAYS gives a study guide at the beginning of the class. You don't really need the book but I highly recommend it--as well as recording his lectures. In depth and humorous. Thoroughly enjoyed the class and highly recommend taking it. He always has a group "activity" the week prior to a test as well, really helpful for a refresher.

One really good thing about his class is that he gives you a study guide for the test, but his test are tricky and sometimes he will change and add things to the study guide the day before the test and I WILL STRONGLY RECCOMEND YOU MAKE FRIENDS IN THAT CLASS AND DEVELOP A STUDY GROUP KEY WORD STUDY STUDY STUDY AND YOU SHOULD BE FINE!

Professor White is an excellent teacher. I took him for my first year at Chaffey, and he is great! Just take lots of notes, and write what he puts on the Power Point and board. Do his study guide assignments, and you will for sure pass with an A. No book needed!

Teacher is too into politics and expects you to know what he is talking about like you are interested and majoring in it. The test he gives are horrible and doesn't use the book. He tries to trick you on the test by wording the material in his lectures and the book. Good luck with this teacher....
