During my first year at CU Denver, Professor Walsh was incredible! I looked forward to attending his class every day. His PSCI 1001 course is definitely a great introduction to Political Science. There's no textbook, but books that are more of story-telling from peoples' experiences, and they're wonderful reads! Highly recommend taking his class!

Really cares about what he's teaching. We had to read 4 books over the semester and write reports on them. He is really focused on exposing students to things they may not otherwise be exposed to. Really interesting class.

Doesn't requires a textbook but has you read four books and write reflection papers. You have one group project at the end of the semester and expect a lot of guest speakers overall great professor and a fun class.

Will need to read several books through out the semester. There's a lot of group project work, and perhaps a few field trips. You must participate in order to get a good grade. Essays are a must. His class is very educational.

An incredibly kind professor. He makes each person feel like their opinion is valued. He encourages independent thought. His TA's are not always the best, but he is a really fantastic professor. I was taking five other classes, and only able to take his course because of his record as an "easy" prof. I am so glad that I did, because I learned a lot

Jim is truly an amazing, passionate professor. His class immerses you into the local community. We read about 4 books during the semester, but the subject matter is very interesting and diverse. Final presentations are done through theater creative expression. We also had field-trips to non-profits near campus, as well as attend community events.
