Great teacher all around. But, I don't know if she's legitimately misinformed, or just trying to quiet a dissenting voice. Who uses Dreamweaver for serious, custom websites anymore? I wasted time and money learning a product that is not prevalent in the workforce. Take it if you have to, but I would suggest you wait till they update it, if you can.

Pretty easy class, Do your work and you will pass. Bentley is a good teacher and is helpful, but not super involved because she doesn't need to be. She responds quickly when emailed which is a big plus.

Professor Bentley's IM 2600 online class was so so easy IF you did all the assignments and and trainings. HOT TIP - For each chapter, you will have a training session then 4 projects. She recorded EXACTLY how to do one project in each chapter. Watch the video as you do that project and it will make all the rest of the projects so much easier!

Jan is a great professor. At the beginning of every module, she would go through one assignment with us so we knew how to do it, then we would complete the other two assignments for that module. There was an exam every 3 modules, but she literally let you look up on google or youtube how to do the problems. She was really lenient on assingments too

This class was online but she was very responsive whenever I had question. She would get back to the same day or the day after. She explained things clearly and simply. She even took time to make a screen cast specifically for me. There's a lot of homework and projects but that's because you have to do the work to learn.

She's a great teacher in a class where you mostly learn from the program. She's always quick to answer emails and fix grades if you run into issues. She curves things if it seems like everyone missed a problem due to poor question. She posts screencasts to walk you through things for later chapters. This class is almost all online.

It was an online class. Honestly the software teaches you 100% what to know and she didn't teach anything. She seemed fine. I did well but I still feel like I don't know that much because it was just a ton of software homework for the entire semester and I didn't ever have anything to actually apply it to in real life.

I took this class online, easy if you have any understanding of Excel. I have no complaints about the professor but the program they use is GARBAGE. You get 3 attempts during quizzes to complete the action. If you don't do it EXACTLY the way the program wants you to, you get it wrong. Getting 100% on assignments is easy, the quizzes kill grades.

Jan and the program she used for homework made Excel super easy. She would go over the first project each chapter in class step by step. She would go back and answer all questions respectfully, too. I would often finish the second project in the same class because it was almost identical to the first. I only went to class on project days.

Jan is a fabulous teacher. She knows how to explain things thoroughly and is more than willing to go back and show you how to do something over and over until you understand. There are a lot of assignments due, and they are due often so if you fall behind.... it could get ugly!

Professor is fine if you have a basic understanding of Excel. But if you don't have any knowledge of Excel, it's tough. Professor expects you to read the textbook and understand it. I asked for clarification/additional help in understanding formulas and she told me to find a tutor, she didn't know where and was no help. I found my own. TakeCrandall

For this class you use a software that grades your spreadsheets and that is annoying because if you don't do it exactly the way it wants you to it will mark your answer wrong. This class could easily be taken online if you needed to. Going to class is helpful if you have specific questions.

Jan is awesome, especially taking IM 2600. She is helpful and clear with what you need to know for tests. The second test was harder than the first and last test, so prepare for that test more than you usually would. Assignments are a breeze and class is enjoyable. You'll learn the basics of Excel, so the more you put into the class the better.

I took her online class and I loved it. I didn't feel it was too hard to learn it that way. Took some time, but the practice videos helped a lot! She responded super quickly to any messages and always helped me fix my mistakes. She is great! Wasn't super clear but there is a class website that tells you where you should be and video tutorials.

Professor Bentley is a great teacher! She is one of my favorite professors here at UVU. Her teaching style allows you to learn the concepts quickly. The class consists of practices and projects. The practices are done in class and are similar to the projects. If you have any questions she will really help you. Great class take it from her.

Jan doesn't even grade the assignments. She has her aides do the grading and they frequently mess up. I havd multiple assignments lose points for following the instructions exactly. The aides and teacher don't respond when questions are asked, and especially when issues with grading are brought up. I'm going to the head of department about this.
