Took his online Trig class. Does not respond to emails. Lots of homework. Homework, tests, and quiz often on same week. Does not give extra credit. Does not give you time to study for final. If you have lots of time to dedicate to working online and learning by yourself you should be fine.

I have taken Mr. Gilbert for a few math classes. So has my mom & my brother. I have had many teachers-especially math teachers and NONE are as great as Gilbert. I am an eng. major so math is my weak point, but I passed his class and wasn't stressed doing it. Everyone knows hes a great teacher so his classes fill fast.

He's the best math teacher I've ever had. Hes organized, clear, and his notes are great. He does his job very well. Fortunately for him and unfortunately for chaffey students, he'll be leaving this semester to take a full time pos. at Valley College. Definately worth following!

EXCELLENT teacher if you never recieved the basics in arithmetic. I never understood math but the way in which he teaches makes math easier to understand. I wish he taught Math 25 -my next class.

He's good teacher and everything but you plan on taking a higher math class next semester it could be difficult because Gilbert will show you shortcuts and may skip on certain sections that you should know for your fallowing math class.

After every class I profess my love for this man! He doesn't make you turn in/do homework, and he lets you take shortcuts because he describes math as "God Awful". He also lets us out of class an hour early every time and I've gotten Bs on the 1
