Comment:

One thing I can say is she is kind of understanding, but she isnt clear when going through examples and when she is asked a question. If you dont have good eyes she writes really small. Doesnt offer examples and study guides before tests. No help with aleks ( Cengage). As well, language barrier has heavy accent.

This professor doesnt give examples of whats expected on quizzes or exams. Also, she never checks emails or responds to them. Interrupts when you try to explain your question and half the time, doesnt actually answer your question.

One of the worst Math professors. Not clear, and you are basically teaching yourself through Aleks. Professor doesnt prepare you for the tests which are 80% of the grade. And you pay 80$ for a program thats only worth 10% of your entire grade. This seems wrong on so many levels. Students are set up to fail with this professor.

Every assignment is very important, this class is easy if you do your best. If you don't understand a certain subject, always ask questions. I will miss this class, In which I enjoyed being part of it. For those who are rated very low they probably didn't show up to class and were expecting to pass the class.

Such a great professor and awesome. Gives good feedback on your tests and always wants you to do your best. Has patience, answers all your questions, I will miss this class. Always do your homework, don't give up on math. Be respectful, treach others the way you would like to be treated.

You have to purchase Aleks program which is 90$ for only 5% of your grade. She jumps around with her lesson plans. So the homework is always on something that you will learn after doing. She writes extremely small and doesn't answer your questions directly.

Best math professor I've ever had. She makes everything easy. I am terrible at math but she is great at explaining it. Best to sit at the front. She gives lots of homework but it's easy.

There was tons of homework every night from Monday through Thursday, about 50 problems per night. The lectures werent all that helpful nor were the test reviews, the work done during them hardly was the same as the material on quizzes/tests. She was caring and patient with students. Recommend only getting the ebook of the textbook. No DLAs.

she explains the lectures well but has an very noticeable accent sometimes difficult to understand. Homework every single night. The notes don't really let me have a full understanding of the subjects. She writes everything on the board and I fall behind on the notes because I wasn't able to see. The lectures were boring, speaks very slow.

Pros -lectures are easy to understand -provides many examples and different methods -helpful -cares that her students understand the concepts -extra credit board problems Cons -sign in sheet -no way to check your grade during the semester -rarely answers emails (difficult to contact outside class) -lots of homework (25-40 problems/night)

AVOID THIS "TEACHER" AT ALL COSTS. I worked on my homework every night, turned it when supposed to. She spot checks instead of correcting you to see if you did well. The practice tests are really just tests since she treats it like one & does not review it over. Uses videos lesson after lesson and after practice problems afterwards. Rude too!

Alphabet seating, unclear syllabus, tiny writing on the board-won't let you move to see, emphasizes more on assignment structure than the assignment content-basically copying each page word for word, over 100 math problems for homework each night, picks you for a question on the board to solve but you better know how to explain it even if you don't

Yes she does have an accent and her lectures are long but I enjoyed her class she's so easy and let's you use notes on all 3 exams and the final!!! So make sure you show up everyday to take notes!! And also do all your homework since that will be a big part of your grade

What I really enjoyed about taking Mrs. Allado was the way she slowly and thoroughly explain everything. From important words to different methods, she always took her time to make sure everyone understood. Overall best math teacher I have ever had in all my school years!

This teacher is not bad IF you have a good understanding of Math. I took her for a fast track class and she is not good with time management. Most days we would only get through half the lesson plan and then speed through the last half. I would not take her class again.

She has a heavy accent which is difficult to understand at times. Not very patient or coordinated. She takes questions, but doesn't answer them in a clear manner which confuses the student even more. Attend class, do all the hw and lab work to get a good grade.
