Comment:

I took Zimmer for Math 410 and she was clear and made math fun and easy to understand. She gives quizzes after each lecture so be prepared to really learn the material. She's always available for extra help. I advice you to ask questions and attend class. Do the homework and you are sure to pass plus she gives extra credit for homework done.

Comment:

Zimmer is a great teacher. Her style is to work straight from book, most examples she uses are from book. Lots of quizzes but they are easy if you take good notes and do homework. Homework is optional and if done completely you get extra credit towards chap test. If you don't understand something she will explain more thoroughly so speak up!

Comment:

Zimmer is such a beautiful soul. Her energy and kindness is the biggest strength she has. Best math teacher hands down, take her if you can! I have always been afraid of math and she was the most helpful person. She does give a quiz at the beginning of class so be sure to be there promptly. Her tests are easy and she works with you on everything!

Class is mandatory because she quizzes in the beginning of every class sessions. Homework is optional but I suggest you do it because it is 5 points towards your tests. Great professor! Will not move forward unless class understands. I've never once passed any math with an A yet with her I did. I wish she taught all math courses. Def recommend her!

She uses scantrons, so if you miss a problem, you miss it. No credit for your work shown. HW is assigned & collected at test time. Quizzes every class meeting. She goes over step by step how to do the problem but doesn't go over Algebra terminology, which you will need in higher math. Take her if you have a strong background already in Algebra

Do you want to pass her class? Attend every class (missing her lectures only hurts you). Do your hw (even though she doesn't collect it, only on test days for 5 extra pts towards the test). Ask questions in class! Go to the Math Success Center (free tutoring). I think she is clear and always willing to help you with your hw after class.

Loved her. She was just a good math teacher. She always stayed after in case anyone needed help with anything. She knew all our names, she made me actually enjoy math. Her teaching technique was very effective. I highly recommend her. So far she is my favorite prof.

Zimmer was an amazing teacher this was my 1st year entering into college as a freshman and she made me feel right at home. She remembered names she would always have a smile on her face & say hi or good luck on the test. I took her this summer & it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I DEFINITELY recommend her. The load was very fair had homework after every chapter & a quiz the next day test were only 20-25 questions. Passed w/ a B!!!

I had her for a 5pm to 7pm class. She let us out everyday by 6:10~ there was no homework, rather she asked us to do it so we can go over it in class if anyone had a problem. Everyday there was a quiz so you had to know your stuff to pass the class. She always asked if everyone understands it before she moves on. Great teacher, learned alot.

At first it was easy but it gets a lot harder as u move on, she doesn't collect homework, and she moves real fast with a quiz everyday but if u need help she will go over it in class if u ask or also she stays after class to help whoever needs it, she gave me a break cuz i know i got like a high D but she gave me a C, overall I liked her.

Professional instructor who is very nice and very helpful. She has positive energy and I wish she taught other classes. Do your homework as this helps prepare you for her quizzes. I recommend getting a solutions manual as I found it to be very helpful.

HORRIBLE I would NOT reccomend anyone to take this woman!she moves VERY fast! quiz every day, and does not check h.w & your work isnt checked on the test! she is exreamly LAZY!so lazy she used scantrons for the tests but A would be -7 and B +7 C+9 D -9, they were the same numbers just neg. so it would throw u off. and she graded harsh!!!!!

I liked this teacher! Wish she taught more classes. She does move quickly but always asks if we understand or else she will review again. Have homework daily, but not checked. She gives quizzes daily this basically tells her if we are doing our homework or not. She is relaxed on coming in on time, as we are adults and can choose to show up or not.

Quizzes the next class after a lecture. You get to drop 4 of the quizzes. She teaches from the book. The book is very good and breaks things down step-by-step. She is a bit moody, and some people had a hard time getting the concepts. She is very willing to help after class to make sure that you get it.
