If you have the chance to take this class take it because it's so easy. His writings were all based on how you feel, but there really long. Don't buy the text book because its online. No quizzes. or test. Writings every 2 weeks or so. He repeats lectures, it's kind of boring but it's easy. Dont bother reading txt book pages he talks about in class.

Great guy. Great teacher. Not too much and not too little amount of work. You have to put your all into the essays. If you thinking about it, I say take it. You can't go wrong with this teacher.

The class is incredibly easy. All the papers you'll do are opinion based. There were no exams. Don't bother doing the reading assignments, he makes you read in class. You'll feel like you're having deja-vu because he repeats lectures from previous days. He's nice and calm and you're pretty much guaranteed an A if you know how to sit in a chair.

Plus side: easy A. Minus side: you have to go along with his BS and act like he is saying something earth shattering, like the sky is blue. The textbook is available online for free. it is also his own so don't give him mo money

First off, don't buy the book. Google it and the newest edition shows up, just use that in class. He's a nice guy but don't ever read the textbook because he'll make you read it again in class. All his assignments are really unclear and usually 7 plus pages long. BSing this class is the only way to get through it.

He is a great professor but sometimes repetitive in class but if you do what you have to do. You will get an easy A. Required 5 essays which 2 of them are 1800+ word essays. Homework is only reading and no tests.

I dont know what to say. Want an easy A take him. Want to learn something meaningful avoid him. Its that simple. Any review saying their life was changed is just ludicrous. If you were born in a cave and lived there until lagcc then yea your life will change. If youre a regular person then no it will not change. Hes incredibly full of himself.

This is the professor you will never forget after your college career . He is a story teller as much as a truth spreader. He will change u.

i took him for Honors philosophy and it was great class. we didn't have any quizzes and exams, :)) all we did was papers. hes not a hard grader and he gives extra credit. he also likes for you to read in class and gives extra credit for that. dont be late he doesnt like lateness.

excellent professor. if you do the work and are on time/attend class you'll do fine. he is really insightful, has great examples, and class discussions are super interesting and really make you think. highly recommend this professor, can't say that too often.

Great Professor. I had him a few years ago for a Philosophy of Reliigon Class. As everyone says, his class is mainly essay based, of which I enjoyed writing. His class is structured around immersion of different beliefs. May sound intimidating, but its actually quite exciting. One of the top three college courses I have ever taken.

really cool guy;He gives 7 essays (first 2 are 1200 words the rest are 1500 words or about 5 pages). No tests, about 7 quizes which are based on the reading. you can revise your work. he says some funny things in class LOL @ this quote "otherwise we would all be living on an island eating coconuts" talking about a world without philosophy.
